This place is a really cool stop for the Rock Hound. If you check out the website, it's a little misleading of the selection he has. You can purchase uncut geodes, which is really cool. Talk to the owner, he's got some pretty neat stories.

This local character owned rock shop would be great for kids, amusing for adults not smitten with rock fever.

Found a review about this place which was right down the road to our hotel. The owner was there and welcomed us. Told us of the different stones he had, shared where he has lived and traveled and showed us his store which has a vast amount of different items such as hand crafted jewelry etc. Great prices and wonderful stories about the area and how he came here after living in British Columbia for 30 years. Would say this is a must stop place.

If you love rocks and minerals as I do, don't miss Many Stones....any questions you might have, Ring can answer. We love to look through all the rocks outside for treasures, and inside you'll find some beautiful specimens. Fun!

I recently walked into a rock shop called Many Stones. It was destiny for a bead and rock collector. It had the most beautiful beads,rocks,and fine collection of jewelry made from stones as well. I found the prices to be a little cheaper than other places with similar merchandise. I got the best deals and by far the coolest rocks and beads there. I also got a few cacti at very low prices in comparison to other locations in Terlingua. I think Many Stones has the most to select from on cacti,rocks, and jewelry in the area. It is a place every one should at least go in and see the rocks. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the owner about the rocks and the area in general. In all a very pleasant experience.

The prices were a little too high. The shop had a lot to offer, but I wasn't all that impressed. I don't think we'll stop there again on our return trip.

I visit Many Stones every time I am in Terlingua. The proprietor is very generous with his knowledge of the area and it's many outdoor activities and the store is cram packed with so much stuff you couldn't see it all no matter how many times you've been.At Many Stones you can purchase geodes that he will cut for you, dig through mounds of other stones, find arrow-heads, fossils and a large selection of cacti. Give them a visit you'll be astonished.
