We have been here two other times in the past five years and it was great. So we were expecting as good as or better this year. We were extremely disappointed. There were fewer attractions than in previous years and one that had been one of ours favorites had been changed into a dark, hot tube of plastic that you walk through...and well, that was it. Also the granny's seance was closed for renovations. I hate to see what that turns into. It was great before. Maybe if you had not been here previously when they still had the cool animatronic attractions, you might be impressed. If you have been here in the good ole days, be warned, it is not the same. Even the manor house was not as impressive. The 3-D house is really great. My new favorite! The staff is really great, that has not changed. If you do go, buy tickets online, it is much easier than waiting in line and paying cash or using their ATM to get cash.

Lines move quickly. Characters are amazing. Family Friendly. Not really wheelchair accessible in some areas.

We liked the haunted houses here. The price was steep at $30 per person and I wish I would have known it was cash only before I got there but it was a lot of fun and the staff was great.

I should start this out by saying that I worked in a haunted attraction for years so I'm very difficult to please when it comes to these sorts of things. Overall, I think it was a great bang for your buck and they have lots of attractions to visit so that made it even better. Not just a haunted house but a full attraction with lots to see and do. Been several times and we always have a good time and if you have teenagers it's a perfect place to visit with your family. Wouldn't recommend it for smaller kids for obvious reasons. (fright factor)

I live for October - gotta get that right out there. So I'm always on the lookout for great haunted attractions. This is a must-see for me every year! There's so much to see - not just one haunted house. Not that there's anything wrong with that...but I always tell people that if they can go to just one haunted house, might as well go to Thrillvania, where there's FOUR haunted attractions, and a really cool and fun magic show too. The haunted trail is really spooky - it's one of my favorites. Verdun Manor is incredible, great effects and uber-scary actors. Speaking of which, those guys love to sneak up on you when you least expect it, while you're just walking around or standing in line. The place isn't too scary for the young ones either...not TOO young of course, but if you know your kids can handle scary stuff, they would love it.
