I came to this ranch with my Wife. What more can you ask for when you see deer, zebras, wildebeest and ostriches among the other many animals they have! Beautiful wooden cabins can be seen from the main road and two amazing man made lakes that have awesome water activities for adults and children alike. The ranch is so abundant in size that hunting is a big part of it's attraction. Looking at their website it appears they offer event coordination for company retreats and weddings. I'll surely be coming back to this place.

I have visited Ox Hunting Ranch twice and the second time was even better than the first. I cant believe such a destination exists on this planet. A few of my buddies and I were looking for a weekend trip somewhere in America were we could have fun, get close to nature, and obviously hunt. We found everything at Ox Hunting Ranch. When we pulled up the first time and drove along the main road we were speechless. There were beautiful animals as far as your eyes can see. Every animal free and wild! My friends and I have never experienced anything like that, and that was only the drive up. We spent 3 days waking up early and staying up late. We raced around on high speed jet skis for a few hours the first day, as well as take a tour of the vast 18,000 acres. The best part of the day was the sun set, I have traveled all around the world and nothing compared to what I saw that evening. Second day was all business Tony, the guide, helped out on the best hunt of my life. Every were we looked we saw trophy game. People spend their entire lives traveling the world and still don't get to see that amount and quality of the animals that we saw that day. Everyone in my party got the animals that they wanted, some of the animals I didn't even know were in America. We finished the day lake side fishing with some cold beers. Third day was all action, we first hiked the largest mountain on property. After words we got on a fully automatic machine gun and let that thing rip. Im sure this is the only place in the world were you could hop on a fully auto machine gun that is mounted to a Ford truck and drive around firing with LIVE ammo. Ox Hunting Ranch is the only place to hunt in my book. I have been to some of those so called "BEST HUNTING RANCH" places in Texas and those places are a joke. If you want a real experience with great staff the only place to go is Ox Hunting Ranch. Im in the process of booking my 3rd visit this time with my 2 young kids and wife. I know they will all love the ranch as much as I did. Till next time Ox Ranch........ see Y'all soon

It truly was a wonderful place for my daughter and nephews first hunt! Im not big into the whole hunting scene, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the vast amounts of water activites and birdwatching instead, while they hunted and hiked. It is quickly turning into a tradition for our whole extended family to meet there.
