This is an easy hike and has some nice mountains surrounding it during the walk. Saw a lot of seniors on the hike so is a good one for older or less adventurous hikers.

This is an easy 0.5 mile walk to the base of a very impressive 80ft dry waterfall. The base of the falls has carved out an interesting rock face which is well worth a visit. It is also possible to take the more difficult 2 mile Upper Burro Mesa hike to the top of the pour-off where the swirling water has carved out an impressive circular chamber from which you can look down to the base. Both great hikes to gain an appreciation of the natural forces at work in the park.

We stopped at this hike on the spur of the moment. This hike is not good in mid-afternoon on a hot day. We hiked it around 1 pm in April. The hiking is a little hard in the sandy areas. We enjoyed the flowers along the way as well as the view of the pour off.
