We stopped in on a rainy Sunday. This was our 2nd time visiting and I am not sure we would go back. The wine is fantastic, but the atmosphere is set up for members to enjoy. We weren't able to stay and enjoy a glass of wine because the covered/heated patio was for members only. The winery could be such a nice social drinking place if it wasn't so "us vs. them" feeling to non-members. We don't find the membership worthwhile when you have to pay $17 per bottle to have the wine shipped to you. It costs less in gas money to visit in person and stock up on wine myself!

Very friendly and good wine tasting, atmosphere pleasant and comfortable. We did the wine tasting of both red and white wine finding them smooth and tasteful. Good outdoor seating to relax with good views and watching people. Recommend going by yourself and not with a tour so you can have plenty of time to enjoy.

We really enjoy going here. The wine club is a solid value, you get a free tasting with every visit as well as the normal discounts on wine and anything you buy in the store. This is a bigger than average winery with nice outdoor seating and very nice views. Pleasant place to spend an hour or so and enjoy your glass of vino!

Great wines, but being primarily a sweet white wine drinker, there was not alot to my liking. We spotted the chocolates (made in Wyoming) and sampled that alongside the wines - even took an extra back to the hotel for each of us. Give 'em a try on your visit - really compliment the wines! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

We went to Grape Creek as part of a wine tour. My husband and I really enjoyed the wine tasting. The grounds were very nice and we really had a nice relaxing time. We took home several bottles !!

We want to clarify non-wine club members are only restricted from sitting on the wine club patio and drinking bottles of wine on the main patio. All guests are welcome to enjoy the main patio and listen to music! The “no bottles on the main patio” policy was implemented to ensure the safety of our guests. We have found we can better monitor responsible alcohol consumption by selling wine by the glass. Bottles of wine can still be enjoyed at Grape Creek on the wine club patio, as it is more heavily staffed. We hope this provides insight to the comments mentioned above. Traffic along the Hwy 290 wineries has increased greatly in the last few years. This growth is exciting, but also requires certain changes to maintain the experience we want for our guests.We want to make the distinction that we are a winery (not a bar). We wish to discourage those that are looking for a bar type environment. By serving guests on the main patio by glass, rather than by bottle, we can more effectively monitor responsible alcohol consumption. Ensuring the safety of each guest is a priority. Buying wine by the bottle to enjoy outside is still possible at Grape Creek. You may join our wine club (no fee) and sip your favorite wine on the wine club patio, which is more heavily staffed.It is true that we are a “wine club winery”. Our members purchase 9 out of 10 bottles sold. Their business affords us the capability to build facilities, staff them, and provide services. The reason we have chosen to move in this direction is to preserve an intimate wine experience and rejuvenating environment for our guests to explore and enjoy the world of wine.We hope this sheds light on the situation mentioned above. We want everyone to love Grape Creek. We welcome newcomers, returning guests and members alike!
