My wife and I played the front 9 holes as it was cool with north wind, water comes into play on many holes but that just makes in more interesting. Going back to play 18 soon.

Water comes into play on 14 holes. (16 holes if you hit it OB into water) The is a great public course and Carlos Espinoza is one of the friendliest Club Pros you will ever have the pleasure to meet. The greens have been pretty bad this year but August begins with some pretty fine roling greens. There is sure to be some GREAT golf between now and the end of October before over seeding and Winter Rye mess up the greens for another 6 weeks or so. And the weekly Sundowner Tournement is every Wednesday at 5:30pm. A great way to get over the hump.

I live in San Antonio and I played here about 3 times with my 9 year old junior golfer. We had fun every time we played here... I think the course is above average for Texas courses and I like the fact there's plenty of water features. I agree with some other reviews that maybe the layout needs some help since several holes are under repair, but it should be temporary. Last time we played there we teamed up with a Dr from Monterrey Mexico and that was a pleasant experience for a Mexican-American like me. I don't get to play with too many Native Mexican folks where i live in San Antonio. Anyway hope you get a chance to play this course.

No signs dead grass not worth it .. Ill give 5 to Tierra del Sol in PHARR TEXAS and Lagos Golf aswell :/

The golf course is in good condition and is kept well. The fees are reasonable and the service is good. I would play this course again.

Detours all over - no signs. Dead grass, 140$ for three people, not as described on write up/on website.

This golf course is very challenging and fair. No matter what your handicap you will enjoy this course. Competitive rates and proximity to McAllen hotels make this an easy choice for golfers.

Large, developed course. If you enjoy the game then you should stop by and play a few holes. My wife doesn't play but even she liked the course because of the nature surrouning the course.
