We were amazing after driving through hundreds of miles of open territory that a store like this existed. The store has a huge variety of items from dollar trinkets to several thousand dollar works of art. The beaded Indian jewelry is exceptional. The store is exceptionally clean and well organized and the staff were eager to help us find the perfect item to take home. This was a very pleasant surprise.

authentic native american items from the Arapaho and shoshoni tribes. tons of feathers, arrows and drums. tons of hand made dolls and clay items. there are lots of beadwork products and dream catchers.

After having shopped directly from Native Americans (most notably from Rose's in the business center just on the other side of the road to Ethete), I thought I'd stop here. The place is nice enough but the problem is that for the most part, the stock isn't locally made, unlike many other trading posts I have had the pleasure of browsing in the Northwest. There are a few cases of local beadwork displayed for sale but when I'm on the Northern Arapaho/Eastern Shoshone reservation, I'm really not interested in Navajo (Diné) craftsmanship, however beautiful it may be...
