Words can't describe all the delicious goodies he makes himself, from scratch with only the best ingredients.

What a treat to discover this unique specialty shop while passing through Meeteetse on the way to Cody! Top of the line chocolates and treats to perk up the drive through the mountains! I read about Tim Kellogg the Cowboy chocolatier in a national magazine and couldn't wait to see his store and taste the fine cocoa from around the world! He has very unique creations and is quite the authority of this favored confection! I went for the pure dark chocolate and could instantly taste the purity and the difference...as opposed to mass produced chocolates that are exposed to varied temperatures and storage issues! I think I am now spoiled for only the good stuff! The store is very clean, open, friendly and pleasant. They ship daily and seem to be creating a world wide stir! ...all from the tiny town of Meeteetse! I will be ordering more when I get home!

Really creamy, decadent truffles. I bought an assortment and can’t say that I could distinguish any big differences in most of the flavors, but they were still really good. I just wouldn’t waste too much time choosing your flavors. The only one that had a distinct flavor was chipotle. The Bailey’s brownie, however, was amazing! Each layer had a distinct flavor and texture. Their presentation was really cute so if you need a gift while you are in the area keep this place in mind.

The truffles are good but I was very disappointed with the quality of the chocolate bars. They taste very greasy like cheap chocolate and they are very expensive for a small town.

Located in the middle of no place, rodeo cowboy Tim Kellogg has a wonderful chocolateria. He is a creator of world-class chocolate truffles and other delights. A friend of mine from the Wyoming Arts Council suggested we stop here, and she could not have been right.Tim reportedly has been trained in France, and I am not surprised given all the herbs he uses in his chocolates, including rosemary, basil, and sage. His sage-flavored chocolates were my favorite: an incredible oral delight.Be sure to stop here! Highly recommended.

My family and I saw Meeteese Chocolatier on TripAdvisor while planning our trip to Yellowstone and made it a planned stop. We bought multiple types of truffles, thin mint bark, several brownies and the most AMAZING organic sweet tea I have EVER tasted! I absolutely appreciate that there are no additives or preservatives used in any of their items.

Here's the place for chocolate in Wyoming. Only 300 or so people live in this town, but what a great selection of chocolate!

I am not a chocolate eater. My husband however loves it and this visit was for him. The chocolatier did not let us down. It was perfect, I even enjoyed the piece I had as it was not too sweet. All the chocolate is freshly made and should be eaten within 5 days. The staff was very happy to anwser all questions . Well worth the short drive from Cody. Lots of choices from Chocolate covered Pretzels to Dog friendly chocolate coverd dog bisquits.

I recently traveled through Meeteese in July on the way to Cody, WY. I read about a chocolate store in an area travel article and thought that I might check it out. It is located across the street from the Cowboy Bar. The Meeteese Chocolatier is an emporium for the chocolate gourmet. The owner, a Meeteetse cowboy makes truffles of all taste combinations, champagne, peanut butter, Grand Marnier, sage, huckleberry and even beer to name a few varieties of truffle. I purchased the Thin Mint bark, the Cranberry Bark and some Chocolate Covered Pretzels. They were all delicious, but I particularly liked the Cranberry Bark. It is probably advisable to go to the Chocolatier early in the day to get the best selection.
