Farmstead Arts in Basking Ridge, just off exit 36 of Route 78, but seemingly a world away, is a peaceful, beautiful place where artists, actors, musicians and people who love art and history can find like minded people and enjoy art shows, concerts, plays, lectures, dance and special events. The house and barn are from the 1700's and have been lovingly restored to be used as an arts center. The barn just got electricity and is ready for barn dances and theater, and the new driveway will journey past the English Barn to the farmhouse much easier. Artists studios are available, and the barn and house can be rented for special events or meetings. You can arrange for a tour of the historic buildings, take art classes, see a play, or purchase art. It's a great spot.
