After my first massage here, while still woozy headed, I was talked into buying the membership by one of the receptionists. All is good though, as the massage was great. 4/5 for the massage, 5/5 for the peppermint scalp massage. How the membership works: You pay at the beginning of each month automatically, and then can go in any time during the month for a massage. Except that's not true. On 4 separate occasions during the first two months, I called several days in advance of when I wanted to come in, but was told they had no openings (i.e. calling on Tuesday asking for a Saturday morning/midday massage). On another occasion, I filled out the appointment request form online (received an email confirmation that they'd contact me), but never heard back from them. Finally, I called to cancel my membership, but they said I had to come in to do so (very inconvenient). As I had 2 accrued massages, I booked those for the following week. Due to travel for work, I had to cancel those massages, so I called and indicated I would be re-booking the following week, but wasn't sure what date. While I away on my business trip however, I received two phone calls, indicating I hadn't shown up for the massages, and would be charged the full amount. What a horrible, horrible business this is. What a bunch of schemers and thieves. You may have good massages and cute receptionists, but what a horrible, horrible business practice.I'd much rather go to some back alley Asian massage parlor and get a massage that is just as good as this, that will cost 50% of the cost that H&S charges, where I can show up any day, any time. boo to this place. two thumbs down.

Have been to Hand an Stone in Florida so tried it up here. The décor was very similar but the quality of the service was poor even though they seem to use the same brand of cosmetics. I was very disappointed in the waste of money.

I love this place. I have been visiting it for about 6 months now, and it is awesome!!! Staff is very courteous and professional. They offer a variety of services: hot stone massage, Swedish massage, facials, etc. My favorite one is the hot stone massage with hot towel foot exfoliation. The lobby and room are clean and relaxing. You can adjust the temperature in your room, as well as lighting to your liking - very nice personal feel. The staff explained their membership program however were not pushy about it. I lost count of how many times I visited different specialists because of a problem of muscle spasms I had on my back/lower back. Tired of this, I decided to visit Hand and Stone, and believe me, it is the best decision I have ever made. I definitely recommend this place to everybody.

From the door, you can feel the relaxing vibe. It is quiet, smells great and has great customer service. I tried a competing chain and it felt very assembly line. Not here... They do try to make it the relaxing experience it was intended to be. The staff were very helpful in trying to match me to a therapist best for me and succeeded!

The Clark Hand and Stone is a dirty, urban revolving door on the cusp of an affluent suburban neighborhood. Try another one of their locations instead.

peaceful retreat when you need a quick pick me up or have a bad day. Great for targeting areas when you have overdone it at the gym. great gift for friends and family

I was very pleased with the experience here. I will say though, I signed up for the monthly plan, then changed my mind and in order to cancel, they charge you for one more visit. Not really a problem for me, but be aware if you don't plan to go back. Hence the 4 rating instead of a 5. I think that's a corporate issue though, not this particular facility. I recommend this for anyone who needs an hour of de-stressing.

I was so relaxed after my massage here that I almost could not drive. Lavendar aromatherapy and a foot massage made for a really out-of-body experience.
