NOT a bar. NOT an arcade. ""Sandman" Ed Liddawi has helped turn a former golf equipment warehouse into "the pool enthusiast's billiard parlor" including 18 tables and fine Simonis cloth. Sandcastle pays homage to the film "The Hustler" with walls adorned with images and quotes from the movie."We had a group event here and EVERYONE had a great time. The owner Ed took great care of us. Gave some shooting pointers and showed us some fun trick shots. We had plenty of room and plenty of tables.They serve some pretty decent food and in true New Jersey fashion, you can BYOB. The one rule is NO DRINKS ON THE POOL TABLES! And of course we all know why! The owner is passionate about the game and really wants everyone to have fun with it! He says, "No one is going to get rich off this game, so have fun with it."
