green tree golf course

very financially friendly...course is in good shape, prices are very low...a course where you get to use every club in your bag..

This is a county owned and operated course, so the fees are very reasonable, especially for Atlantic County residents. This is a decent target golf course cut into the pines and wetlands of South Jersey. There are short, easy playing par 3's and 4's as well as a long par 6 over 600 yards and several holes where water and wetlands play key roles on every shot. Stay on or near the fairways and you'll have a pleasant experience, try to gamble and beat the course and you may find yourself using a lot of balls. They also have a small driving range where they let you hit off the grass instead of a mat.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed this course because....We were fortunate to be paired up with another couple that played the course regularly and guided us.I wonder how pleasant this course would be for first timers with directions to some of the holes not marked and no knowledge of exactly where some of the water hazards are.

This course is in the Mid-Atlantic Tee Time book so weekend prime cost was less than $20. Staff was fine during check-in. Short course, so don't let the par 6 third hole confuse you. The greens were in excellent shape but the area has received a lot of rain recently so the fairways were a little shaky. Tree lined fairways so rough was not growing consistently and a lot of bare spots. Had to stay on cart path a lot but since course is small not that big an issue. Group was visiting the area so would not play here again, would try a more standard size course.

First of all, the greens were in Great condition. The course was challenging as well. The 3rd hole par 6 was was good too. Well run place with a staff that cares. Manager and staff were easy to talk with. Justin or was it Jason wanted to make sure we had a good time and fit us in with no problem. I know this is a public course but it can hold it own even on the par 3s. Fourth of July week and the place was busy. We could have played anywhere but wanted to try this course out and we liked it. We will be back. The price was great TOO. The only thing that could be improved is better food selection other than just hot dogs. The thing I like is that it was real hot and they step up and had bottles of water for you when you teed off on the first hole...nice touch. Most public courses could care less when it was that hot out. Thanks for the great time.If you give this place less than 5 stars for the effort and care they take in this place then stick to the driving range and never play another public course again because these guys care for the game of GOLF.Jerry Ehrlich from the Great City of Philadelphia
