Great place to skate & take lessons. Instructors are very patient & great with younger kids. Kids go here for birthday parties, lessons & just to have fun skating with their friends.

My daughter took lessons at Aspen Ice for about 6 months to learn to ice skate. They have a top-notch program, really well organized with convenient classes. The instructors are great. She learned very quickly and now can have fun at ice-skating parties with her friends. I recommend Aspen Ice for kids learning to skate.

Great for public skating, ice hockey, figure skating, Learn to Skate, birthday parties, fundraisers, ect. They have everything!

I've taken my boys there a few times. They're ok - always very crowded and loud. I think the place can also use more attendants. Sometimes if you need something, you have to go to customer service to have 1 question answered. It's not expensive, and it's great for families.

My daughter enjoys the Learn to Skate (LTS) program and all the coaches/staff are very friendly. The ice rink is nice and most of the time public skate is not too crowded. During public sessions, my daughter can practice her figure skating without getting yelled at for skating backwards or doing a few spins. The LTS program is excellent because the talented coaches enjoy teaching and management is excited about the program to Aspen Ice. We had a birthday party here and it was o.k. only because the ice was not too crowded. Staff does a good job of helping out and attempts to teach the kids to skate for 15 mins. If the ice is crowded at the time of the lesson then it can be madness. I would suggest scheduling the lesson later in the Public Skate Session as people normally drift off after 30-45mins of skating. Of course, there are cons because I'm bias to figure skating and I wish there were more public skate sessions. The building has two sections (Ice Rink and Lacrosse Field) and the break area/snack bar are between the two. Unfortunately you can not watch the ice rink while you enjoy a snack, so we don't eat there much. Overall we really happy with Aspen Ice at Flemington and stop by if you're looking for a place to skate.

My brother plays ice hockey so I have been to many rinks, this is just not one of the more impressive. However, the bathrooms are pretty clean and the food service is pretty good. It definitely DOESN'T stand out as one of the worst rinks I've seen.

My daughter went skating there for the very first time, and had a blast. It was a weekday so there was plenty of room on the ice for a newby and she asks to go back all the time. It was freeeezing cold on the ice, though, so be sure to dress warm!

We've always had good experiences here. We go for the open skates and always had fun. The price is reasonable and the kids have a nice time. We recommend trying it out!

good luck with any of the public sessions, like a weekend or Friday night. The place is packed with kids/teens, many skating in 4 directions at once. If you can get there during off hours, it is much better. Also interesting is the soccer game played in the other "dome"; these guys are really good and play their hearts out.

Not worth the money. My daughter wanted a bday party there for 3 years. I finally agreed Before booking I inquired specifically about them interacting with the kids on the ice as well as asked during the party if games on the ice will be played. Aspen told me yes both times. Not only did our party planner not interact with the kids at all she left the ice 1/2 hour early and left myself to get the shoes out from the ice skate area. I had to go in to the room and take everyone's skates and find their shoes. When I asked the kid at the front desk to help he stated he was to busy. Besides this my daughters balloons were the wrong color, her name spelled wrong when I specifically told them how to spell it and the wrong cake was ordered. When I called to speak with the manager I got the head party planner instead and although very apologetic I am still waiting for a call back from a manager. Don't waste your money on a party here. If your child wants an ice skating party plan the party yourself and just take them skating.

Great instructors for hockey skating lessons. Very hands on and quick to identify with each kids' personality and motivators!

This is where I took my kids their first time on ice. Staff was helpful and they have the walkers to assist new kids. Rental skates are pretty beat up but that is typical. Haven't tried the food or other activities. They do offer lessons.

Even though it is called Aspen Ice, there are lots of sports going on. You can take the kids ice skating or watch amateur ice hockey practice or games. The food is your normal rudimentary offering and sometime you cannot get a walker for the little ones to skate on their own, but all in all a really nice experience.
