columbia trail

It is one fabulous trail that extends 7 miles and the continues for another 8 miles with plenty of beautiful scenery. It embanks the South Branch of the Raritan River, passes the Gorge and continues until the first section ends passed Califon. There are many signs that tell about the history of the area along with mile markers every 1/4 mile to help you tell how far you have gone.

Lovely setting any time of year -you can walk, run, bike, cross country ski, or snow shoe this trail. Trail runs from High Bridge to Califon and is relatively flat. Very pretty!
