Nice place to hang out watch sports or go after work for a few drinks. The food here was average. The worst part of the visit was the service was understaffed and SLOW! Some coworkers and I went for lunch and waited and waited and waited for all of our food to come out. We were late back to work.

If you want to go out with your significant other or a small group of friends for ok food, but great times, this is your place. If you're from the homeland, please don't hold their "Irish Fare" against all of us. I know they're trying. If a quick burger or salad is your thing, you'll be happy. Even happier with a pint!

I am in the Metuchen area quite often and really wanted to like this place. In fact, I feel it deserves a two but I want to give it another try. I have been in about a half dozen times and I received wildly inconsistent service. I often order a pint and the price varies for the same beer. Sometimes it is $5.00 and sometimes it is $6.50, sometimes there is tax and sometimes there is not. I have received a large 20 oz glass and have been charged $5 or $6.50 for the same beer, i.e. a Guinness. A 16 oz Guinness can also be $5.00 or $6.50 depending on the server. It is a locals place, which I like and I am not a local, but I feel the prices charges depend on the server and if you are a local or not. I suggest the establishment post prices for all to see.

Local Metuchen, NJ, Irish pub. Brew Master Moshe Atzbi and the entire staff at Hailey's are wonderful. The variety of drinks available - from the always-changing draft beer menu, the Irish whiskeys, to the good ol' standards, never fail to please. Currently (Oct. 2014) Hailey's has 21 beers on tap, 21 bottled beers and 1 canned beer available to get you to your happy place! The American and Irish fares offered on the menu are delicious, numerous and generously-portioned. Hailey's is constantly bringing the fun - weekly karaoke, nightly live local bands, several large t.v.s for game night, costume contests in October, Ugly Sweater Night in December... There's always something going on at Hailey's Harp and Pub.Bar area, dining areas and game room on-site.HOURS:Mon - Wed, 11 am - 1 am Thu, 11 am - 1 am Fri, Sat 11 am - 1 am Sun, 11 am - 1 am WEBSITE:haileysharpandpub.com

For local regulars (which i am), it truly is a place "where everybody knows your name."But anyone who steps inside is made to feel welcome. Classic Irish pub fare, Irish with a twist and typical bar favorites are all great, with drink and dinner specials, all served up by a friendly, fantastic staff. There's live music almost every night, sports on about a dozen TVs,and regular events. You're crazy if you don't stop in.
