Took my kids here to pick black raspberries and blueberries while visiting family nearby. We all enjoyed picking and prices were reasonable.

We go every weekend while they are open to get our supply of fresh from the farm fruits and vegetables - will need to stock up on this closing weekend!

I drove from the Pocono's to Phillip's farm in NJ because of a recommendation from a co-worker. He told me how wonderful the berries were, so I thought I'd take my daughter and her friend (both 14) down there to pick some apples. We do this every year mostly at Gulick's Farm in Martin's Creek PA and sometimes others in the area, and this year I thought we'd try someplace different. It is a little difficult to find, no thanks to my Iphone GPS... but we had fun finding it. The property is pretty once you pass the storage units... and the different apple trees were well labled. The woman at the "hut" where you find out which way to go to the apples, looked tired and was nice enough, but I couldn't exactly call her friendly. These were the good points.Bad points. They had no cart to pull, only small boxes with a stapled on handle that probably couldn't hold more than 2 dozen or so apples... very awkward to hold. Or, you could purchase environmental friendly bags with their logo for $1. We chose to purchase the bags. The website says to call to see what is available at that time, and it's not accurate. It lists all the apples, not only the ones available. So if you are like me and don't know which apples are available in which month, you will have to make due with what they have. I found no prompt to speak to a live person. The VERY worst point was partially my fault. I've been to different apple picking places and they are all about the same price, between .55 - .80 lb. It would depend on how many lbs you buy. I never asked the price before picking the apples at Phillips Farm and I was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED to find it was $1.25 per lb!!! That is outrageous! We had already picked our apples and I didn't want to upset my daughter since she was having a great time, but I had to pay $67 for 48lbs of apples and a small apple cider. I guess the tax isn't added to the $1.25 either. If my daughter had not been there, I doubt I would have paid such a rediculas price. One of the other reviewers said this place was reasonable? Not at $1.25 a pound for apples they're not. Yes, I should have asked beforehand. I have learned my lesson. We will never be going back there and for my friends that I originally sent them the link to the website, I've already emailed them (and facebooked) the price, and they're laughing at the thought of paying so much for apple picking. I honestly believe this is the reason why they don't provide carts and only those little boxes, there is no way a person would pay for a cart full of apples at that price. They should be ashamed!
