Found what I needed, and happy I could mix my selection of apples. Again, I think it was helpful to go midweek without the usual weekend crowds that I can imagine are around this time of year. Small but the basics were there including farm fresh cheeses, fresh veggies and other good eats. Tons of pumpkins and fall gourds to choose from as well. I can't comment on the corn maze, that wasn't part of my visit.

The place is a little pricey, but you should expect that with 75 employees walking around. I had a picture of the maze and counted every left and every right along the way. I knew exactly where I was the entire way through. I had my children convinced that we were lost and was having a little fun with them when about 50 yards from the finish, one of the employees shouts, "you're finished people, the end is right there....." I said, "hey buddy, I paid the $70, not you." He had no idea what I meant, but just like everything else in this world today, someone is ready to ruin everything for you. Stay out of the way until your called upon. That kid was a killjoy...

We had a horrible experience at Stony HIll corn maze. Unpleasant extremely rude unhelpful employees. We went apple picking at Stony Hill Gardens $2 a pound $20 pies and afterwards corn maze $13 pp plus $1.5 more for 3D glasses which is a must in order to read the maze map otherwise you are stuck walking in circles for hours. Something they didn't explain in the beginning. After 2 hours and no one around for help we ran into a rude worker (appeared to be teen) as we struggled to get his attention while he horsed around with his friends my kid was hurt. I asked for a supervisor so he called security whispered something to the person and then we were asked to leave. My child was manhandled and after complaining to another staff member they didn't seem to care and refused a refund. Sadly I got the impression they are racist. We left disgusted and it ruined our kids day. Avoid stony hill corn maze in Chester NJ

Purchased a groupon for a family of four to go through the corn maze, free donut and cider came with the offer. Went with a bunch of friends and their kids.If you get there around opening, parking is no problem and no crowds. I suggest you use the port-a-potties before going in the maze (there aren't actual bathrooms so if you gotta go, you gotta use the porta-a-potties). Before you get grossed out, let me tell you THEIR POTTIES ARE CLEAN!!!!!! I actually saw an employee going through them with a spray bottle of cleaner and paper towels and cleaning them. They were clean at first use and at second use as well. It's the little things that impress me.The average time to get through the corn maze is an hour and a half. That's exactly how long it took us. They give out little activity sheets for you to do along the way (but there's also a special map on it that you either need to use special glasses to read -- you can purchase there -- or find the special spots in the maze to help you look at map). There were a couple times we thought we had gone in circles but for the most part, we did well. We went on an 80 degree day and it was hot in the maze. Probably much better in cooler weather. I recommend you bring a bottle of water with you. I saw many families with kids in carriages going through the maze. The maze is a dirt path with some rocks around from time to time. There are also bridges you'll come to so if you have a baby carriage, you'll have to get it up and down the stairs of the bridges. If you get lost, there is a phone number to call on the sheets they give out and employees can come rescue you. You will be exhausted after you finish, trust me! They also have a mini maze and a rope maze you can try out. There are a couple of play area for the smaller kids, too. After the maze, you can purchase snacks (popcorn, donuts, caramel apples, beverages). The cider and donuts are so good. There are also a number of picnic tables around. We brought our own food so we sat under the only table that was under a tree and ate our lunch. We took a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and picked out a couple small pumpkins. They do not have apple picking on site yet. They're working on it. You can see all the baby trees and signs saying apple picking coming Fall, 2016. They do have a place you can pick apples though that is 3 miles away. We were so exhausted from the maze, we didn't feel like going picking. There is also a farm store where you can buy a bunch of the usual "farm" type items (pies, donuts, produce, cheese, etc...) but I found the store pretty pricey so I limited my shopping to one item I cannot get by my house.By the time we left, the parking lots were crowded and there were a lot of people. We had a great day. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lack of apple picking on site and the overpriced items in the store.

Love this place. Fresh produce and home baked pies and donuts. Can't wait till fall when they add caramel apples and we can have maze fun. Plenty to do for all ages. The younger crowd especially like the Miner Max activity. Have fun!!

Stony Hill has both pick your own and ready pick produce selections. It is not as busy as Alstede Farms. The produce is very fresh.

That's what they're most known for! The maze and it's def worth it, especially if you got kids. They also have plenty of fresh fruit and veggies to buy. Worth a visit, especially during fall.

I took my son here before Halloween to go through the mazes. He was 9 at the time and we spent close to 2 hours in there finding some clues several times and never finding our way through. There were different colored sections and one or two of them we never found out how to get into, you could see them from the 3 bridges but it was just too difficult. We did have some fruit snacks to keep us going but eventually just wanted to get out of the big maze before dark. We were lucky to find a parking spot in the small lot. It was an okay experience but very far from home at almost an hour one way in Saturday traffic. We did a smaller maze which was probably way too easy to figure out, then my son did the rope maze for a bit before we left. They did try to limit people in the maze by timing when new groups could enter but it was just too hard. Other people would ask us if we knew where we were going and then we'd see other groups again and again after walking in different directions. There were helpers on the bridges with maps that offered some guidance but I never wanted them to tell me exactly where to go..

Produce is the highest quality I've found in this area. Reasonably priced and takes credit cards to boot.

We stumbled on this after seeing the larger farms completely packed. No only did we have the whole hayride completely to ourselves but we could also pick apples without a "membership". Highly recommended.

Came to Stony Hill today with my girl for some fall activities and glad we did. We researched the area, and felt this was the best spot for us and we were right. When we got there, I looked for an ATM assuming we would need cash for the maze-nope, they accept cards which is great. Entered the maze with confidence; left disgruntled. We attempted to complete the maze without any maps or assistance. Side note-we don't have any kids, but if we did this is a supreme spot to spend the day with a family. It took us 2 hours to complete, and we had a great time even though we made numerous wrong turns. After the maze, we shopped in their country store. The pies are overpriced in my opinion. The hot cider was legit, as was the hot chocolate. We left w apple butter syrup, lentil soup mix, sugar cookie mix, pumpkin muffin mix and a raspberry chipotle bbq marinade. After shopping, we picked our own pumpkins and called it a day. There was one employee that stood out-Joan, who asked us if we enjoyed ourselves and pointed out that there was a night maze event. I'll definitely be coming back next year, this time with a group!

Excellent collection of mazes. The giant corn maze is well developed and one of the most challenging mazes I have encountered. Hayrides are available to a pumpkin patch. Snacks, cider, and cider doughnuts are available for purchase. A couple members of the staff were obnoxiously disrespectful to the children and teens entering the maze. The farm management needs to ensure professional development in how to display authority and earn respect. If I saw my child talked to in such a manner from the staff as I did the female maze lead, there would be some consequences. A large group of unruly teenagers visited at night and there were even police officers on hand to assist as a standard precaution.

Great corn maze!!! But leave at least an hour or two to find your way out, as its not easy. Wonderful fresh veggies and baked goods, jams, farm raised beef and lots for the kids to do including feed the animals.

The orchid show each year is wonderful and the owners are most knowledgeable and helpful. There is a varied selection in their gardens for Spring and summer.

Visited with my family to pick apples, but was a terrible and unpleasant experience. Not only was the selection of apple trees limited but the customer service was disappointing and the two individuals we dealt with were rude and need lessons with how to deal with customers. Do not go here. We will never go back.Corn maze that is several miles away is a different story. Enjoyable (though pricey) and every staff member was sweet and helpful. But you can find many better alternatives for apple picking or farm products only a few miles away.
