Music and Merlot from 6 to 9 on Friday and Saturday nights is a great way to catch up with friends without breaking the bank. It is especially enjoyable in the summer, when children and dogs also come out to enjoy the music. While the food choices are limited, the pizza is good and several of the wines are excellent. Can't wait to return!

We stopped in today for a tasting and were happy to see a few Italian varietal wines. The fee for the tasting was $6 for 6 wines and included a souvenir glass. The young man serving us was friendly but didn't give much detail to the wines. I read the wine list and asked questions. I felt a bit rushed during the tasting even though there was only us and another couple. I enjoyed the Barbera and Sangiovese. The Merlot served was a but skunky, I think it had been open awhile.

We went on a Friday night to hear the live music. The music was great, the wine good and although the food choices are extremely limited the homemade pizza was very tasty. The accoustics of the place let sound bounce all around so it gets very noisy very easily. If you're looking for a quiet romantic setting go elsewhere.

Had a wonderful time at Hopewell Valley Vineyards. We celebrated a co-workers birthday there. The place is absolutely gorgeous. They have live music on Friday night. The wine is superb!! The pizza was great!!! We purchased 4 bottles of different types of wine while we were there. I ended up buying two bottles to take with me. A lovely evening with friends and great wine. Recommend that everyone check this winery out.

I spent a wonderfull fall afternoon at the vineyards with my friends this past weekend and it was just great! The staff is very friendly and really explains each wine perfectly. The tasting's are $6 for 6 samples and you can choose from a wide assortment from the menu. The vineyards are just gorgeous and I highly recommend to come for a visit!! Looking forward to coming back, soon!

It was a busy holiday weekend crowd, but the wonderful staff worked through it, by letting customers do tastings at tables (which they would normally charge extra for). The selection of wine was fine, the help provided by our server was of great use. Then we paired one of the wines we tasted (the Barbera) with a few different brick oven pizzas out in the lovely patio area while listening to live music. The staff, while extremely busy, never let us think we were forgotten and did their very best to keep up with the crowd. In our view, they succeeded. The food, the venue and the wine were all top notch.

I visited the vineyard on a Friday evening with 3 friends. We arrived around 6pm. We sat outside on the deck with a view of the vineyard. We had delicious brick oven pizza along with some appetizers and of course the wine. Our favorite was the Barbera. There are tables inside with live music or outside to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Hopewell Valley Vineyards hosted my wedding in June 2014. Unfortunately, they are not listed on traditional wedding websites so I wanted to write a review to help any brides who are considering HVV as the venue for their wedding.I wanted to start by saying I had an outdoor, tented wedding at HVV. The wedding itself went smoothly and all of our guests had an amazing time and loved the scenery. The vineyard is absolutely gorgeous which is why I chose it for my wedding.Unfortunately, the path to my wedding day was difficult. Violetta, the owner of HVV, is incredibly difficult to work with. For the first few months of my wedding process, she was very unresponsive and I had to chase her to get answers to my questions. As my wedding date got closer, she became more responsive. However, Violetta is not transparent in her business dealings. Our contract did not require a minimum wine purchase. She tried to get us to purchase wine based on a rate as if we were only serving wine. Because we were serving beer and hard liquor our wine order was less than she expected. Violetta insisted that we purchase more wine; however, I stood my ground and refused based on the fact that our contract did not stipulate a minimum wine purchase. Eventually she backed down. However, on our wedding day she made comments to my father that I chose too much white wine (which was cheaper) and not enough red wine (the more expensive selection). I found this to be in incredibly poor taste. So to any brides considering HVV, Violetta was the most difficult vendor that I had to work with but in the end our wedding day was great and we are happy that we got married at Hopewell Valley Vineyards.

Went to Hopewell Valley Vineyards for a tasting and had a good time. There was a party going on downstairs, so I didn't get to check it out, but it looked nice. The wines were pretty good and the place was very nice on the inside. Our server was nice, but got distracted helping out with the party downstairs, so we had to hang out there longer than necessary until she returned back to square up the check.I would return again for a visit, but wouldn't rush back there.

Held our bridal shower here. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is fantastic. Very classy and great wine! Great people to work with during the planning process and the event itself was perfect. We had such a good time, after the bridal shower was over, we ended up staying to listen to the band and get some pizza outside!

Looking for something to do on a Saturday evening, try Hopewell Valley Vineyards. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area which we had perfect weather for. The band played tunes from the sixties, seventies, and nineties. Very easy to listen to, not overly loud. We had a bottle of Vidal Blanc, which was just average. The hummus and bread was very good. The wood fired brick oven pizza was fantastic. Try some with toppings. the basil was sweet! The upper tasting area is open and airy but the small bar area was crowded, and only 3 couples could be served comfortably. Hopewell limits the taster to 6 selections, but offer 20 different wines? We would have liked to sample more. Price was $6.00,,, cheap enough and you get the glass. How about charging more and letting me try them all.

WE came across Hopewell Valley Vineyards on Yard Road by happenstance after house hunting. We are so glad we did. It is truly a vineyard and tasting place to go back. We would have purchased the house across the street but it was under contract.

Great wine, live music and home made pizza. Beautiful patio and lovely indoor area to listen to music. A gem in Hopewell Valley. A great place to spend a Friday or Saturday evening.

Spent this past May 11, 2014 with my daughter at the Hopewell Valley Vineyard. A nice location in New Jersey. We had the wine tasting and four items from the light fare menu. The day itself was amazing as the weather was around if 80's and blue skies (almost California winery Weather). Sundays is jazzy Sundays. Nice music and some really good wine. Brought home the white merlot and red port. Both are really nice. Will return with my husband on a Friday or Saturday when they have music and brick oven pizza. A really pleasant time especially for a local NewJersey winery.

Went there on a whim, what a pleasant surprise, fine wine, pizza & cheeses and very passionate staff and to top it off we listened to a 70-80's rock band Just Us and felt like we were at a concert, could not believe the the talent and great song selection, What a great evening our group of eight enjoyed,
