This place is great. I always wanted to tandem jump and these folks made it happen. Safety is their number one concern. All parachutes are packed by professional riggers. It's all they do. When they are working their concentration is keen and they are in the zone. The professional jumpers know how to move things along so that you actually exit the plane rather than grabbing on for dear life. They make it so much fun. Paul, my jump partner, has done over 14,000 jumps. With all that experience he was still able to appreciate the rush I experienced and he made it happen. We did flips and twists and turns and who knows what else. The free fall was amazing. I cannot say enough good stuff. Paul read me well and knew instinctively what I could handle and we went for it. I went with two friends and we're going back in a couple more weeks with more friends to jump again. I cannot wait. I may take their certification course next year. I'm addicted! Get the media package!

I arranged a group deal with Skydive Jersey. 8 people for a saving of about $25 per person. The day we were scheduled the weather was bad, so we had to reschedule. One thing that I liked was that we did not have to come back as a whole group. Each person was able to pick the best time and date for them to return on their own. That was very convenient. The day of the reschedule, there were 4 of us. We arrived early which is necessary to literally sign your life away and initial in about a 100 different places on their required waivers. I ___ will not sue, blah, blah, blah. I understand I may be killed or injured, blah, blah blah. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. I loved the twisted humor. We received NO training, NO in case of emergency pep talk, and NO explicit instructions. I am glad of that. Hearing about the dangers, etc., would have caused me to think myself into fearful paralyses. Instead, they introduced themselves, interviewed us on the go pro and loaded us in the plane. The ride up contained a cheap thrill from the pilot, beautiful scenery, and a couple really awful jokes...which relaxed me. When the side door of the plane opened, it was go time. We got in position and I was told to swing my legs over the edge. My legs did as they were told and then I was flying!Bottom line, they did a great job and I highly recommend them!

Only reason I give this place 4 stars is because you don't get your pictures right away, I know a few other places that give you a USB right away with all of your pictures on it. Your video is understandable as to why it takes longer for editing and such, so that I had no problem with. As far as the friendliness and knowledge of the staff they are great. My instructor made me laugh the whole time and made me less nervous. Felt very safe jumping with them and the experience itself was amazing.

We booked with this company for 9 of us to skydive together. Only 2 of us had skydived before and that was centuries ago. We were met with a perfect day, perfect golfcart to the site, good computer software to check in, ample staff to assist with paperwork and an awesome staff of skydiving professionals. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, it was a wonderful experience. The pilot, jumpers, video footage, available gear, drinks, viewing area and space were all top notch. It felt like you were in a farm field in the middle of America, but it was Jersey! I would recommend this attraction on company to anyone. Just a wonderful thoughtful, experienced, fun group of people to run a business!

Skydive Jersey is amazing, My brother had bought me a GC for a jump. I was very nervous, and anxious. The staff made me feel so comfortable...everyone kept saying the plane ride was the scariest part....It was! The jump was amazing, peaceful, and felt like you were floating for a minute or so. Can't wait to jump one day again!! THANK YOU SKYDIVE JERSEY!!!

Had an amazing time at Skydive Jersey. The staff was great from start to finish and the jumping was absolutely amazing. Was definitely nervous to jump, but Jeff made me feel very comfortable and the second I was out the door, it was nothing short of amazing. The second I safely hit the ground, my father and I both decided we wanted to do it again and put down a deposit for a second jump! Can't wait to do it again

Well, first of all we landed there on possibly the worst day, it was Sunday and also Fathers day ...ran into a huge queue..waited for 4 hours for our jump. . but at the end of this, it was all worth the effort and wait..loads of paper work to fill up...and then u wait seeing other guys go up n land next to u ..crew is good and they make u feel more comortable..all in all it is a must do once in life..for all people, who dont have a car when they are in NY, no problem..they offer a shuttle service from Hoboken station for 30 USD. One can avail that. Also ...must take the video package...

Awesome, exhilarating, exciting - very fun people, beautiful, cool, state-of-the art place that makes you feel more confident. Tip: get the earliest jump to avoid any wait or weather change. Suggestion to Skydive NJ: Email one photo same day - when your customers buy the media package, so you have one drop of instant gratification to tell the story! We can't wait for our photos and videos.

Words cannot describe what free falling feels like. The instructors were really cool and very safety conscious. The only thing I can say about it was that I made an appointment for 1 pm but when I got there, it was still first come first serve. I ended up waiting 3 hours to jump. My advice is to get there either really early or late in the day.

After years of talking about it, I picked up the phone and booked our first skydiving jump. My fiancé at the time (husband now) wasn't sure if he was going to go through with it, but I barreled ahead and off we went! They called in the morning to confirm and we headed up to the airport. The weather was perfect and the jump was amazing! We could see forever!! Get the media package, it's absolutely worth it!

Went here based off a Amazon Local coupon and I definitely do not regret it. Although I have to admit that at first I was so quick to buy it and then I wondered why I was so eager to sky dive. I have to admit that I was very nervous and apprehensive about going at first, but after reviewing their customer videos online, I was very comforted. Now after finally jumping for the first time, I cannot believe I hesitated. These guys were AWESOME and really made the entire experience well worth it. I still would pay full price to fly with these guys again (it's also only $115 after you fly with them for the first time)Of course, as with any place you are going to go skydiving, you have to initially sign your life away because of liability. Then they also ask you about the media package. Your only option is the $90 video/picture package of the entire experience. Even though I have not received mine yet, after reviewing and watching other on YouTube and seeing the amount of effort they put in to try and make your video very memorable, I think the media package is definitely worth the money, especially if this is your first time. We had a 11:00am appiontment, but to be honest it did not matter. They open at 10:00am so there were 2 jumps ahead of us, but once the first group was ready, the plane just kept going in circles picking people up and going back in the air. We actually finished by a little after 12:00pm (on a weekday) as the third jump. They have no issue with you taking some personal pictures beforehand or having a bystander take some (since your belongings are put away once you check-in). You can also watch other jumpers come down as you land right in the field next to the airport, so that really helps ease your fears. The staff is also very experienced and not afraid to answer your questions. They can do anywhere from 5 to 20+ jumps a day and some of these guys have THOUSANDS of jumps of experience. The plane actually was probably my most nervous point because I do not like small Cessna planes. It's very cramped which is why only the pilot, 2 instructors and 2 jumpers can go at a time. It takes about 20 minutes to take off and reach the 10,000 feet altitude and you start getting used to the height and scenery. Again, the staff helps ease your fears and are very talkative.Once they open the door and you feel the cold air and wind is when the rush begins. Your adrenaline is pumping so much that you do not even think twice about stepping on the ledge of the plane 10,000 feet in the air. The instructor does all the work making sure your footing is correct and also gives you instructions twice before getting on the ledge on how to fall off the plane with him and get into the correct position. Once you fall off the plane, it is the most awesome yet indescribable experience. You freefall for about 5,500 feet before they pull the parachute (which takes about 10-20 seconds). After that, you have a few minutes to enjoy the rest of the experience and float 4,500 feet back to the ground and enjoy the scenery. The instructors also have some fun with you too on the way down. Landing was cake. My instructor did all the work as he had put kick my legs up and we slide along the ground (So yes, you will get a little dirty). I definitely recommend wearing pants and SECURE SHOES. I felt like my shoes almost fell off while free falling and when I landed, they were untied so they definitely almost came off. Overall, this place is HIGHLY recommended. You are going to be shocked that you actually did it all day and will be wanting to go back again. I guarantee it. I will definitely be coming back here and going with this company again.

My girlfriend and I did our first skydive with 'Skydive Jersey' and had a great time. Our instructors were cool guys (Brandon and Muffy) who really love their jobs and make it super fun, so we had a blast!There is a ton of paperwork to fill out, but that is to be expected, as you are jumping out of a plane! A quick tutorial on what is about to happen and then up and away you go!The video/picture package is a bit expensive ($90), but they do a good job with the video montage and there are a ton of pictures you get as well. The pics/video is all done via double GoPros attached to the instructors hand/arm, unlike some other places that have a separate jumper taking photos, so you won’t get any full body shots of your jump, but the majority of them come out pretty good.I would recommend doing jumps here for anyone who is a first timer for sure. They also offer a discounted rate if you would like to sign up for a second jump, as well as discounted jumps for any friends you refer.

I really enjoyed skydiving here, however I am disappointed with the picture package. I only wanted a few pictures to remember it, and the only thing they offer is a 99 dollar video package. Nothing in between. So I gave in and got it. Well, it has been over a week now and I still have not received it. It's all electronic - all they need to do is upload to a computer and email. At this point I dont really even want the video anymore. Just wish they put a little effort into getting it out quickly.

My wife and I did a fair bit of research before choosing Skydive Jersey. The whole experience was extremely smooth and pleasant. Our reservations were made quickly, all prices explained and we went for our jump this morning. The clouds delayed our start, but that was beyond anyone's control and despite the delay, everyone seemed to have a good time waiting on the ground, almost turning the place into a picnic spot! When it was time for action, the wait was worth it. Our instructors were funny, experienced and knew just how to calm nerves or to 'rattle' it out of you (if you were too unusually calm like I was!!). They were plenty of photos taken, videos, and the final moments of dive were well executed. The nerves were there but it was beaten hands down by the beautiful aerial views during free-fall and when the parachute was opened up and the flips in the air (if you'd like some) from 10,000 ft. The ground staff were very cordial and everyone was nice. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for us. Some tips -- try to schedule yours as amongst the first 3 - 5 people of the day. Else, it can be a really long wait with changing weather conditions. We had the first appointment for the day, and there was a weather delay, but we got called first once the clouds cleared, and luckily it wasn't too warm yet. The other thing is we thought we were going to get the DVD package the same day, but were then told it would arrive in 3 - 5 days. I guess that's fine, but I'd prefer that someone mentioned it at the time of booking. If you are a foreign visitor and trying to fit this in your schedule, you may not get a copy of the DVD package in time. So, that's something to consider. Lastly, considering that there were some elderly folks and children too who come along, the restrooms really need to be better maintained for their convenience.
