I love the Princeton Public Library! It is a beautiful three story building, centrally located in Princeton. They always have what I need, and I take advantage of the books there by placing books on hold. It is always convenient to run in to the library and have the book you want waiting for you at the counter. They recently started a self-checkout area, which makes the lines to check out books or get books from on hold shorter. The third floor children's section is comprehensive, and provides many activities for children. I know they host many events at the library, in general, but the only one I've taken advantage of is the Winter Farmers Market. I always enjoy going to this market! The library does validate your parking ticket, when you park in the deck next to the library. The only disadvantage to this library is that if you want to just run in and pick up a book, parking is tough and you aren't encouraged to leave you car at the curb, even for a few minutes (even though I do this often!). Check out this library. It's one of a kind!

Visit here regularly. It is an ideal place to meet someone if you have a few moments to wait - their cafe in the lobby serves coffee and light fare with plenty of tables. Free wifi throughout. Tons of resources and community programs. This is definitely the "heart of the community". They are plugged into the interests, likes, and happenings in the Princeton area and bring terrific programming for free! This includes computer classes in a top-rate tech center with outstanding teachers. Took class on blogspot and teacher was terrific. Parking garage next door, very little on the street non-metered parking. If you aren't from the area, it's still worth purchasing a library card. The outdoor plaza is spacious, lots of seating, free outdoor programs, and even a Farmer's market. You won't be sorry to make this Library a part of your life.

This library is unparalleled, and the heart of the community. There are extensive on-line resources, and classes on everything. The librarians are all really nice and helpful. Parking validation for 1/2 hour.

PPL is truly one of the perks of living in Princeton. Their selection of books, eResources and multimedia is excellent. They also have extensive programs for all ages.

Amazing service advising guests on Apple products once a month, with free consulting services on the Cloud, ipads, Macbooks, iphones, etc. They'll troubleshoot, synch everything for you, train you on details of functionality, just like the Apple Store. Wonderful film and speaker series, decent cafe, many, many other surprising services.

This is one of the best public libraries I've ever been to. Great selection of books and music, plus great places to read and study. The new building is beautiful, too.

The Princeton Public Library has made itself one of the community's living rooms. Strong programs, good outreach--better than average.

Nice clean building with good cafe and good shows. However the library is very expensive to use IF you do not live within the city border.

We have lived in many towns and used many libraries. This is definitely one of the very best. The staff is amiable and very helpful; the on line services terrific; the large number of courses, performances, computers and other helpful equipment and more and more are all geared towards making this a community learning and meeting center. There are a number of sessions devoted to small children, middle and high school students and seniors. They really make a superb effort to serve their community.

The Princeton Public Library is housed in a beautiful building. I especially liked that they have a used book section where books are sold for cheap! If you have a library card parking is free for two hours.

I had occasion to take my 3-month-old granddaughter to Story Time twice in one week, and was very impressed. The stories, songs and general baby-watching kept my little one very entertained and engaged.
