We went here for the chocolate and wine fest and loved it The wines were perfect and everyone there was extremely helpful. The area was beautiful, who knew there was such good wines so close to home. Will be by again.

It's a very small tasting room, but quaint. We used a groupon for a chocolate and wine pairing. They give you two glasses, four boxes of chocolates and five wine tastings. Each wine was paired with chocolates. Staff was very knowledgeable. The wines were very affordable. The blush (what exit) was our favorite and today they were putting free labels on the bottles!

Went to the festival Sunday. Fun time. Band "Tastes Like Chicken" was a nice surprise and very good. The wine was good too. It was super hot for the last Sunday in September. Could have used some shade in the afternoon for sure!! The views are really worth the trip. We sometimes forget what NJ has to offer. Staff could have been a bit quicker with the orders and the samples were tiny but overall a fun time.

My friend and I had a groupon for a wine and chocolate tasting and used it today. We had a great time! The grounds are quiet, peaceful, and the fresh air is just wonderful out there. We picked six different wines to taste and each flavor was explained to us expertly, as well as which chocolate to taste it with. After the tasting, we ordered a glass each and sat out on the gorgeous patio to enjoy it. We both purchased bottles as well. What Exit White was my favorite! My only regret it that I don't have time available this weekend for their wine festival!

Summary:The staff is obsessed with your money and not much else.Actual experience:We approached the counter and when we acknowledged being part of yoga class, we were told to stand in the corner near the restroom. After being asked if we had payed, the teenager that served us poured about a tablespoon of wine, and walked away after he gave a detailed explanation, consisting of the name of the wine and eventually not even that. Before we viewed the rest of the shop, we were interrogated by another employee who insisted on seeing proof that we had paid, despite the email confirmation I had received the day before that literally states "You are not required to present a ticket."After convincing him again, that yes, we had paid, we visited a beekeeper and sampled honey and mead, though we had to negotiate for a glass from the bar. We ended up purchasing a jar of honey, and the bartender yelled across the rom to ask if we had paid for it. For the remainder of our visit, we were were ignored by the bartenders who openly discussed their opinions of their customers.I will not return and would not recommend anyone visit.

We spent a delightful Sunday afternoon here. When we arrived it was very busy so we asked for a recommendation to enjoy with our picnic. We walked around the vineyard, learned about the honey bees on the property and enjoyed our picnic on the patio - with the recommended wine. Eventually the crowd thinned and we went in for a tasting. The staff at the tasting were very engaging and we chose several bottles to take home. We will return!

We decided to celebrate our anniversary with some wine and chocolate. So glad we did. Old York Cellars is a gem. The property is just gorgeous. We brought a picnic lunch, and did a wine tasting with chocolate. The wines were good. I didn't think the cabernet and merlot tasted like what I'm used to, but that's not to say they were bad - all the reds, including the port, were quite tasty. They have tons of cute little tables with umbrellas all over the place for you to sit and eat/drink. The wine tasting room is really pretty, with lots of windows overlooking the property. They had water with lemon outside for you to drink, as well as the wines inside, plus sangria. We took a walk on the property to see the grape vines and bees after lunch, then took a tour of the winemaking building. Great day. Next time I'm leaving the kids at home. The facilities could probably use a second bathroom - there was a line. We noticed there was a bike tour having lunch there too - pourandpedal - we'll have to try that soon. We did a groupon here, so the wine tasting (6 wines, you choose) and chocolate plus 2 souvenir glasses only cost $10 for two people. I understand they also have Friday night live music here. And other events like chef events and yoga events. This place is a gem.

Amazing staff and wonderful environment. Their white wines aren't as good as the red ones. I had a very good experience.

Old Your Cellars is a nice place to visit for a day trip. Also, visit Unionville Vineyards while in the Area. The wines are just OK.

On Friday, August 22, my wife and I visited OYC for a wine tasting followed by a vineyard concert provided by Acoustic Road. What a wonderful way to spend a summer night. Their beautiful tasting room provides a warm and comfortable setting for focused tastings. Their policy is to allow tasters to sample up to six wines, so we selected three dry whites and three dry reds. We have had their wines many times and were eager to evaluate these new vintages. Our six wines ranged from very good to excellent, prompting us to purchase a mixed case of all six. By the way, the tasting was conducted by a knowledgeable and affable woman who concisely described each wine. We appreciated her attention to wine detail. Afterwards we sat and sipped a wine on their patio overlooking their beautiful estate vineyard. What a gorgeous vista! The evening's main event was dinner and the concert which they held in their indoor facility because of iffy weather. We brought great food from our beloved Mi Amore and enjoyed it with OYC's brilliant 2012 Syrah. I look forward to this wine over the next 3-5 years because it is superb now. Also superb was the music provided by Acoustic Road, a duo of excellent musicians who covered all bases from mid-60's to the present, including the Beatles, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel, the Eagles, and many other favorites. The wine, music, food, and overall ambiance made for a great night. We would see AR anytime they are performing in the area, especially if they return to OYC. Fine wine + great music = excellent night. That's my kind of mathematical equation.

My son and daughter in law went out for a wine tasting and the dinner. It was so nice tasting all the wines and bringing some home. They are so personable and listen to what you are thinking. I love the Double Gold winner of course was one of my favorites. Thank you to the Old York family for making my day fun. Can't wait to go back soon.

Our group had a great time. The band "Nake Jake" was good and fun with a nice mix of music. The view and atmosphere of course are wonderful and the wine is good too. I would suggest more vendors next time!!! Thanks.

The grounds at Old York are absolutely beautiful....even when mostly snow covered. I'd imagine it's great in the spring/summer to go out on the stone deck and see the vineyards. My boyfriend and I went here for their Groupon deal--tasting and chocolates, though you can actually get the option even without the Groupon. The staff member who conducted our tasting did not seem very knowledgeable about the wines and did not really tell us anything about them, but the tasting menu does have descriptions. The chocolates are individualized portions of Brix chocolate, which are meant to be eaten with certain wines. It is a little "do it yourself" with the tasting as the tasting menu lists which chocolate to try with each wine. There is no explanation of why or how they compliment each other. After our tasting, we decided to buy a bottle of the blush wine. All of the wines are fairly priced. The tasting room is a little small so I could see how it could get crowded. We enjoyed our time, but wish the wines had matched the scenery! It's worth a visit for a try.

Did a tasting over the weekend with my Mother in law and Husband. We had a good time. The wine was great. The views were spectacular. The inside is a little small and was very crowded since it was the weekend and the first nice day in awhile. The outside deck is large and in the spring probably offers a great alternative. The staff was friendly and accomadating. Definitely a good place to stop in especially for their Malbec.

Brought a Groupon for Christmas for my husband and realized it was going to expire shortly. Nice day so we thought let's go. The property and scenery is very nice. The wines are good and the place over all has a nice flow. We did the wine and chocolate pairing... Was not overly crowded but it does have the potential since it is smaller. We hope to go back one day.
