We went on this cruise as part of a company function . The food was very good . The workers work very hard to make sure everyone is happy . I would recommend this cruise to anyone who is looking for a relaxing afternoon on the harbor . We sailed up to the statue of Liberty and back down to the pier .

My wife and I thought it would be a great and unique idea to have our rehearsal on a dinner cruise. Since we're from out of town, we visited several different companies and we came away impressed the most with Entertainment Cruises and decided to have our rehearsal dinner on the Spirit that docked out of Weekhaken (the company's main office and main docking area is at Chelsea Piers in NYC).My party came away very impressed with the three hour cruise that took us around Manhattan and all had a great time. The food was served right after departure and was pretty good. My wife and her grandmother are both vegan and even though the cruise serves a buffet setup, our contact at the company was able to make previous arrangements to have plated vegan meals served to them, which they did without issue. We were also both surprised when the waitress brought out a bouquet of flowers for my wife as a congratulations for our wedding. A very cool gesture!I would HIGHLY recommend using Entertainment Cruises if you're considering it for a rehearsal dinner or just for a typical dinner cruise. The contact with the company was very easy to deal with from start to finish and we came away very impressed after it was all said and done!

1 you take the ferry to Weehawken and come up to Boulevard East, which is up on a hill ,One can see a bridge to cross or simply ask fellow travellers on the ferry as they usually are local people living in Weehawken or West New york. you going to enjoy the ferry ride and the view.2. Take the NJ transit bus from gate 212, bus 166,165 and 128 from Port Authority, 8th and 40th street and get off before the 47th street if you crossed the restaurant cherritos then you have gone too far so get off before cherritos and after that you will see paradise, Alternative bus route from NY city will be a mini bus from 40th and 8th Avenue right next to Duane Reade. Tip ,try to visit an hour before sun goes down and you will see a spectacular view of NY city, plenty of restaurants on Edgewater River road, just call a local cab or visit Cherritos restaurant which has a splendid view of the city. There are only a few places in NY from where you can see the entire Island of Manhattan and I think this one is the best as I also see newlyweds come here to take pictures and videos and occasionally see japanese and Chinese tourist buses visiting.

The overall cruise was fun!! Unfortunately/fortunately (lol), for us their were 2 sweet sixteen parties on board. We were celebrating a 50th bday. A lot of the adults onboard needed to lighten up & have fun, you pay too much money to be a bump on a log. it's a good thing the teenagers had a lot of energy on the dance floor & so did we. We made our own fun as well!!

We wanted to do something different for our annual office Holiday Party so we decided to book it on the Spirit of New Jersey for December 7, 2012. Well it was so much fun for our staff once we got aboard the ship. The boat was decorated very festive like and the atmosphere was everyone was there to party and have a good time. We bought the VIP tickets which definitely paid off. The waiter couldn't do enough for us. The drinks were flowing and the food which was a buffet was suprisingly very good. The DJ played music for all ages and we were on the dance floor most of the night. We had such a good time that I would definitely consider going back in the summer when I could enjoy the sites on the outside of the ship.

My husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary aboard the Spirit of New Jersey and we could not have been happier with our experience. From boarding to disembarking everything was wonderful. Our server, Elaine was so pleasant and attentive without being obtrusive. We purchased the Romance package and we received our champagne glasses as souvenirs. Elaine even added a personal, handwritten note with our glasses. What great service!!! The food was delicious. The ship is very nice after being recently remodeled. There was some entertainment from the wait staff which was very good and the DJ played a variety of music, he even took requests. My husband and I danced to our wedding song while cruisng the Hudson River. What a great way to celebrate 11 years together. We will definitely be taking another trip on this boat.

This cruise was good. Good food, nice entertainment, great views. I found all of the employees to be happy to have you on board and appreciative of your business, which, at times, is not easy to find in NJ/NY.

Traveling to NYC with a time line is always risky business. We were planning to entertain guests from Florida and Indiana on Spirit of New York cruise. After being delayed for over two hour in traffic attempting to get to the Lincoln Tunnel we jumped ship (so to speak) at the last NJ exit. Taking a chance we made our way to the SPIRIT OF NEW JERSEY. The ticket agent suggested we speak to Mr. Mike Cimini, Cruise Manager. Mr. Cimini being of good spirit made the needed arrangements to allow us castaways to board the SPIRIT OF NEW JERSEY. Mr. Cimini has that can do spirit so often lost in the public relations. On board we found the service to be efficient and attentive. The food was a great surprise with the inclusion of two seafood entree, meat, chicken and veggies cooked right. The music and musical staff were party starters and kept things moving. The cruise of the Hudson River is always an eye opener, from Freedom Tower to the Lady Liberty, New Jersey has it all.We thank Mike Cimini for turning the traffic nightmare into a nautical delight.

We loved everything the food, the entertainment, the sights are amazing. To be able to cruise, dine, see a show, have a cocktail and see the statue of liberty in a couple of hours is a guaranteed good time. Great time with friends and family!

I am a student at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Each year Ramapo cruises with Spirit Cruises, and we are very satisfied with the level of service we receive from the Spirit Cruise staff. Spirit Cruises really works with you so you can make your event as awesome and easy to plan as possible. The interior of the newly renovated Spirit of New Jersey ship is beautiful and really allows guests to enjoy their time on the water. The captain pulled directly up to the Statue of Liberty and the guests had a wonderful time.

The view was spectacular. All kinds of photo ops for the photography lover. However. This was a dinner cruise with entertainment. The food was fair at best. And as far as entertainment. Every time one of them got up to sing I went on deck. There were three singers. The girl was fair but I would not pay to hear her in concert anywhere. And the two guys. Someone would have to pay me to set and listen to them sing. And the DJ. Maybe he likes the type of music that he played, but from looking around the room at times, I think he was maybe the only one most of the time. I guess maybe I should look for a harbor tour cruise next time I take this trip. I was under the assumption that we would be told what attractions we were looking at as we passed by them. There were several people on the boat that it was their first time and they were asking me about the sites. They knew I had been to NYC several times. But even at that, I was not sure most of the time. I had never seen most of the sites from that view. Unless they make a lot of changes, I don't think I will ever return to this cruise. Unless it is only for a photo op.
