Date of visit: Sunday March 15thMy family and I ( mom, dad, 5 yo girl and 9 yo boy) took a day trip from NYC (2 hrs) and it was a good time. We arrived at 11am and the check in had a small line but it moved quickly. We rented 2 small lockers because all the big ones were gone. $7 each plus a $20 deposit each. The changing area had good size rooms to fit all 4 of us. There is an area with chairs to put your towel on (to claim a chair), Cabanas for rent $85 and a bar area. The water was warm and the activities is typical for a water park. The restaurant was the typical fast food which was pretty pricey and the seating area is too small for such a big place. Luckily we went early and ate early so we got a table. It got pretty crowded (about 1pm) and I can see why all the reviews said it's overcrowded. We finished up the water area, changed then spend about 30 min in the arcade. The arcade games are 50 cent to $2 per game and you have to get a game card (free). Checking out to return your key was OK, just hand it in and get your deposit back. The deposit can be paid with cash or card. I would go back in the future, just remember to start your day early. I went on a whim on a Saturday as a time killer with my kids. We had been to coco key some years ago and liked it. Let's start at the price. It was 92.00 for three of us. Mind you, it was 10-7, however, it is not really that big. There is a kiddy pool, one for older kids, a play area, some slides and that is really it. It's hard to spend more that 4 hours there. It is extremely crowded, ridiculously, obnoxiously. It is simply not a big enough facility for the amount of people that are allowed admission, and there is not enough to do. The facility was clean. The staff was helpful and polite. I seriously considered hitting the bar, but I had the kids with me. The decibel level in there left me with my ears ringing for about 2 hours afterwards. Honestly, it's not some place I would go back to again. My kids 9 and 7 were really not thrilled. It's a great concept, it could be better, oh and terrible parking. We did not eat there, so I cannot comment on the food.

Thank you for visiting us and for sharing your experience with us - we review all guest feedback and share it with our managers so we can continue to improve upon our park!We are happy to hear you enjoyed your cabana during your visit - cabanas are a great way to enjoy an intimate family experience and feel like you're at the tropics! While we do experience larger crowds during holidays and on weekends, we never exceed capacity and always have extra staff (including managers) in the park to ensure our guests have a clean, safe and family-friendly experience. We will share your feedback about our attractions with our operations managers as we appreciate your suggestions and critique. Our adult-only tub is a warming tub, so it does not have hot tub temperatures but is a great place to relax away from the kids. We understand that some people are more sensitive to the chlorine smell than others but our facility is located under a retractable roof that we open in summer months. We are happy to hear you and your family had a great time during your visit and hope you will come back again and visit us this summer - we have a 2 acre Outdoor Beach Club that's open from Memorial Day - Labor Day and is included with a general admission ticket.Thank you again for sharing your insight!

We do apologize you felt our park was busy - we always recommend visiting on weeknights or weekend mornings to avoid the crowds. We do offer multiple bathroom areas throughout the park to ensure guests never experience a wait.In terms of food - we routinely monitor the wait time on all food but, unlike many other parks, our food is fresh and made to order; never frozen! Additionally, we offer a variety of different food options to meet the differing budgets of all of our guests.Thank you for your suggestion on a Members Only night - we will share it with management. We added new membership perks this year - annual members can also bring a friend for FREE on designated days.

My son and I went here for it's exclusive special needs night. I wish more places provided evenings like this. My son had a blast. The staff was super understanding and let us know what rides would beat suite his abilities. He really enjoyed the lazy river! Will definitely be back!

Sahara Sam's offers special needs evenings open exclusively to families with special needs. Our family loves that they think of our needs and offer these nights just for us. The park was very clean and guests were kind.

My boys Logan and Garland have been begging me to take them to Sahara Sam's Oasis. My older boy Logan was there for a birthday and would not stop talking about it. I wasn't sure at first because I generally don't like water parks. However, I was presently surprised. The place was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I got a discount for using my AAA card which was very nice. My boys had a blast and I did too! Logan loved an activity where they simulate a wave and get to go boarding. He did it so many times and I got some memorable photos. Garland loved the activity pool. He splashed and blew bubbles all day long!!! I have to admit, I did not plan on doing anything, but had a great time going down the family tube slide and a real nice time in the lazy river - so relaxing. There was also a nice arcade at the entrance, my Garland loved the Wizard of Oz game! It was a great value and a great day! An indoor waterpark in the winter is a fun thing to do! Clean and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Thank you for visiting and for sharing your experience with us! It is unfortunate to hear you didn’t enjoy your visit to our water park. We do host more people during holiday weekends than on regular operating days but we do set a ticket limit to ensure our guests can enjoy all of the attractions at our facility. All of our staff from lifeguards to managers receive vigorous training to ensure the safety of our guests and also to provide an enhanced guest experience. We do ask that when visitors have concerns they speak with a manager so we can mitigate any potential problems and improve the guest experience. Additionally, all of our staff are identified with uniforms, matching name tags and badges. We do require a waiver to be signed to ride our surf simulator.
