Had a horrible experience today at Unbridled Chocolates. Owner was INCREDIBLY rude to myself and my client. We bought chocolate and I had asked for separate reciepts...the owner said "you've got be kidding me" and then proceded to roll his eyes. Needless to say he won't be getting my business again. Its a shame because the chocolates are quite good.

Always room for improvement, however where here it would be hard to improve everything was excellent.

PLEASE go out of your way to visit here!! The chocolate is to die for. DELICIOUS!! They have brunch on the weekends and food is exceptionally great. Everything is made from fresh ingredients. The owner is a really nice guy too.

Can't remember how many times I had passed Unbridled Chocolates and had heard word of it around Jaffrey where I lived. Chocolate? Had to try it. Pulled in one late afternoon and had the best chocolate I have ever and I mean ever had in my life. My travels now take me out of state but I have plans to go back up north and stock up for Christmas. I've decided that this year will be a chocolate Christmas and what better place? Stocking stuffers anyone? A gift certificate possibly? Consider it a wonderful adventure into the world of chocolate.

The chocolates are wonderful but the brunch I have had there twice now was the best breakfast I have had in years, if not ever. Alan is not only a first-rate chocolatier, but a phenomenal cook. Generous portions, the best coffee in the area, the best sausage I have ever had, and the fresh fruit and perfectly cooked pastries should be experienced at least once a month.

I am now officially a chocolate snob! Discovering Unbridled Chocolates has thoroughly changed my view of how chocolate should taste. I refuse to get my chocolate anywhere else and now make biweekly stops on my way home so I can stock up. Besides the obvious wonders of Alan’s chocolate, we have discovered a hidden gem when it comes to brunch. Not only is everything organic, local and non-GMO, the prices and the atmosphere are fantastic. Although everything on the brunch menu is phenomenal, my favorite dish to get is the seasonal vegetable omelet. To top it off, Alan is a gracious host and will most certainly make your visit enjoyable.

My friend Morgan told me about Alan and his shop in Marlborough, and I drive that way all the time to get to keene. So last winter on a snow day my parents and I decided it was the perfect time to go and have some of his wonderful hot chocolate and brunch. And it was just that! Wonderful! His little shop was cozy and his wait staff were wonderful. Being a baker myself he even showed me his amazing kitchen. It was a wonderful place and I cant wait to back again.

We stumbled across (and into) this place taking the "Scenic" route home from Kennebunkport in the rain. just outside of Keene, it is an unassuming (means, you'll have to be on the look out) converted home/barn/warehouse thing. It was a Sunday but the owner, Alan, enthusiastically invited us in and gave us both a physical and gastronomical tour of his establishment. We are now bridled. The Salted Carmel is first rate (and I am from a family of skinny sweet eaters) and our new favorite is the Habanero (and other hot pepper mix) chocolates. They are HOT and sweet and you will be hot for them. You can order them online to, but it is a spectacular drive from any direction, and each time we've gone there is something new in the candy counter.

This is the place to stop at while your traveling in new Hampshire! As soon as you walk in the door the smell hits you ahh chocolate! So many chocolates to choose creamy carmels, coconut, espresso, vanilla ginger I found some old favorites and discovered the most amazing fudge! The baked goods are to die for! Chocolate cake has never tasted so good, you can buy it by the slice or order a whole cake. I highly recommend a trip to Unbridled Chocolates you will be glad you did!

I found this place a few years ago and have been back at least a half dozen times. When I bring some of the chocolates home, my friends are truly amazed. If you can't make it to the store I would recommend trying the mail order. You will love it!

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give to this most amazing chocolate shop! Spent the most beautiful day in Keene, enjoying the town and some shopping. Pre-lunch, we made our first trip of the day to Unbridled Chocolate. Just a little something to tide us over. My first favorite part is that you can buy chocolates by the piece. Many candy stores require that you purchase a 1/4 pound minimum. I had the most amazing milk chocolate soft caramel I have ever eaten. The chocolate itself is perfection and when you bite into the candy, it gets even better. The liquid caramel center flows softly into your mouth. Your taste buds take turns tasting the chocolate, then the caramel, then both together and then start over again. Our second trip of the day was to purchase candy to take home and give as a gift. I have never seen Guinness used in candy before but I knew I had to go back and buy some of the Guinness truffles, both milk and dark chocolate, for my stout loving friends. While there, we had the luxury of being the only customers in the store during the lull that comes before the post-dinner rush. So we were able to chat with Alan, the owner/chocolate magician. Alan shared with us details about chocolate-making, stories from his interesting life before chocolate-making and shared with us the most amazing chocolate mousse I have ever had the joy of tasting.Have you ever seen chocolate mousse on a menu and immediately pictured what you hoped would arrive at your table-- something heavenly, that needed no whipped cream, that would make you realize instantly that all other chocolate mousse you had eaten over the years did not deserve to be called mousse, after all? This is that mousse. So if you are in and around Keene, NH or anywhere in southwestern NH, you HAVE to go to Unbridled Chocolates. And even if you are not nearby, it is worth a special trip. I know I'll be going back for that little bit of heaven.
