May seem a little pricey at first glance but it is a great way to see the lake. Although we live right near Lake Winni and have had many a boat on the Lake, we go on the Mount as locals call it, once a year. We typically take it from the Weirs and get off in Wolfeboro. We then walk around the docks and grab a bite and get back on.They take your picture as you get on. When you return you have a choice of purchasing or not.It is a spectacular ride !

I agree exactly with Michael N,"The Mount is a great way to enjoy the lake and see the beautiful scenery around the lake. Relaxing and well worth the morning or afternoon that you spend aboard "thanks MIKE

We took "the Mount" after we rode the scenic train from up the road (Meredith, NH) to pierside. The ride down from the train station ("Rail & Sail") was enjoyable and made the vehicle parking very easy, compared with what we would have faced trying to park in the Weir's Beach area. The lake ride was good as was the on-boat food selection. Our ride comfort was frequently interrupted by hyperactive children and their ringleader running around the boat and into rooms in which we were sitting. The commentary on highlights was good, as was the train ride back to our vehicle.

The Mount is a great way to enjoy the lake and see the beautiful scenery around the lake. Relaxing and well worth the morning or afternoon that you spend aboard for a fall foliage cruise. The fall foliage colors of the lake's region are really outstanding when seen from the Mount on a sunny fall afternoon during the early October peak color periods.

We enjoyed going on this boat with our 3 young children. We were free to bring our food/drink on board and sit in the covered area w/ them. It is a tad bit too long for young kids, but for adults it is fine. Just buy your kid an ice cream 2/3 of the way through and you'll be fine.I liked the history about what we were seeing as we sailed through the lake and seeing all the different types of properties on the lake.

First of all, the weather was perfect. Crisp, cool, sun shining and the water SOooooo blue! Now is this the setting for a perfect cruise or what? We cruised on a Sunday for the champagne brunch. While we don't drink alcohol, we throughly enjoyed the coded, tea, hot chocolate, juice or sodas! The cuisine was amazing. There were so many beautifully prepared appetizers, entrees, desserts. . . You will not leave hungry! One of my favorite things was the trio of sax, flute and guitar players. Oh! They were phenomenal!! As we left the boat, we even got them to play Rocky Top Tennessee for us!!! The one thing I did not like was that the ship picked up another 100-200 passengers at another dock about an hour later. It made it a bit crowded. But everyone deserves a fun day! It just made more interesting people to meet!! The scenery was excellent and we got great picture and have wonderful memories. I would do it again!!

We really enjoyed our "motor ship" ride around the lake. The loading and unloading of passengers was well organized and user friendly. The captain of the ship made several announcements throughout the trip, informing us of landmarks etc we were passing. They had free coffee and food and drinks for purchase.

There is so much to do in this area, from hiking to sailing etc. the scenery is beautiful,. We went on Lake Squam (which is where Katherine Hepburn filmed "On Golden Pond".) It was so beautiful and very tranquil. We claimed up Rattlesnake Mountain (a steep climb about 30mins) and viewed the lake from above, great views. We also visited The Flume Gorge at Franconia State Park, again great views and lovely foliage at this time of year. For shopping there is an outlet village at North Conway with some great bargains. So much to do here, but we didn't have enough time. If going again we would stay in Meredith which is so pretty (& is on Lake Winnipesaukee)and more convenient for the mountains. We stayed in Laconia but had to drive an hour or more to this area every day. Meredith or Conway are more convenient if visiting this area.

Very enjoyable and good narrative from the captain. Food and beverages available too! What's not to like? We did wonder how crowded it would feel if it had a capacity passenger list.

While visiting New Hampshire, we decided to try out the cruise to see the area lake. It was a quiet, beautiful fall day, and we had a wonderful time. The ship arrived on time, and the crew was friendly and helpful. We went during the week, so there plenty of seats. I also had the opportunity to walk around the ship and enjoy different points of view. They offer a snack bar with a small selection of food. I took advantage of the bar. They had nice selection of beers on tap, and the bartender was very friendly. Wasn't horribly expensive either. A beer and a soda cost about 7.50.The cruise is VERY relaxing, and I learned a lot about the lake from the crew as we went along.I'd recommend the experience to anyone visiting the area.

Took the later trip on lake winnipesaukee . An overcast day with hints of sun. Off season, so not crowded. Worth the trip. Sat in the top deck in the bow. Beautiful 2 1/2 hour trip. Take a jacket because it gets cold and windy. Crew was courteous and the boat can accommodate people with disabilities . Bathrooms are TINY. Only drawback of the day

M/S 10. of Mt Washington is a good ship, fast and smooth. The trip for that is a 10 out 10. Geat scenery. Now you may book a dinner or brunch cruise. Unfortunately, this experience will turn it into a 2-3 out of 10. The food sucks. For the money you pay, it could be a lot better. Good luck finding something that wasn't pawed over earlier in the day. Also good luck g up.finding a table to sit at. If you board at Weirs Beach, you will be greeted by 30+ who boarded at Alton an hour earlier. They are the reason you will find the food picked over, which would be fine if it was replenished. Maybe they book a private party at the same time. You lose a lot of space. You want to eat in the bowls of the ship with no windows? You will find seats down there if they open it up. Otherwise you have a good chance eating standing up.

Awful experienceI booked the Sunday Champagne cruise online, so looking forward to end my nice weekend getaway with this cruise brunch. On Saturday I went to pick up my ticket that I booked online, they could not find my reservation even when I showed them my invoice, photo ID, everything, so the person offered to sell me another set and promised that they can refund the ticket. Ok fine, I just called, no one picked up the phone, I hope they honor what they promised. Before I went I asked if it is a good idea to bring my stroller or if I should carry my baby. They said I can take my stroller, so I did. But...On Sunday the cruise was late, we waited in line for over30 min (additional to the 30 min the staff told us to be at the dock at 12), finally got on the cruise with my husband and my 6 month old, could not find a table for the brunch AT ALL! Strolling back and forth the ship multiple times, tables were either taken or marked "reserved". A bunch of us including me could not find even a chair to settle, never mind getting our buffet lunch. Finally a staff offered to seat me at the "captain's lounge" in the lower level of the ship. My and my husband had to carry the baby with stroller and all the bags we have to the lower level then went back up to the main deck for food, went back down to eat. At that point I just need to get a table with food for me and settle my baby. We ended up eating our brunch in the lower level of the ship with no window, forget about any scenic foliage view with my brunch! At the buffet table getting food, saw some people sitting at the table who didn't even have the brunch ticket was getting food! The staff checked my ticket gave me a stamp so I could get second, but no one checked my husband's ticket he got third plates. I am not sure how many of these people on board who took a table, sneaked in the buffet table but did not pay the brunch price. I am even surprise they mix brunch people AND the cruise only people on board the same ship. O and plus there was a wedding also on board at the same time. The food, I did not expect great food, they served eggs, beacon, sausages, French toast for hot breakfast, chicken, stuffed pork, roasted beef and seafood chowder for lunch. Cookies, pastry, coffee, OJ. Their champagne and mimosa are unlimited. They also have a cash bar for cocktails. After we ate, I had to carry my baby with the stroller and bags back up to the main deck in order to enjoy the view, saw a family left their table to the deck so we can sit at their table, finally with some champagne and the view we long for. But at that point I was so tire! Worst yet, later came to find out most of those tables marked as "Reserved" was never occupied! Why do they sell more tickets then amount of table they can accommodate? Why do they even offer to "reserved" table ???? If they do, can't they group them in one section or one level of the ship? These "reserved" tables are all over the ship! If I have known I can reserved table, I would've done it too! No one offer! So unfair! The only good thing I found this cruise to be is that their bathroom is baby friendly. The have a changing table in the women's bathroom and the handicap unisex bathroom with a lot of space to change diaper. This company is so disorganize, and the policy is very unfair!I like the idea of the brunch cruise, but I hate how they manage it. DO NOT join the brunch cruise.

We did one of the Saturday dinner cruises. The ship is quaint, the food was average, the prices for drinks average. The band (Club Soda?) was so much fun. We boarded late and ended up sitting next to the dance floor. Lucky for us!! The band was amazing---played songs from Elvis Presley to Def Leppard to current hits. This was a perfect cruise for the area. My 72 year old mother felt this was one of the best nights of our trip!
