LOH has great acoustics - sit rear center or even upper mezzanine level center for the best sound. We saw Amahl & the Night Visitors (our son played Amahl) and of course as parents we thought it was great, but the opera house is very nice and actually very well known throughout North America for its opera programs, especially its Young Singers program (1000 applicants and less than 20 accepted).

Nice theater. Small and quaint. Came in to see Barenaked Ladies concert and it was a lovely setting in town as well.

Disliked: There was no liquids allowed in the Venue.Disliked: The wait in line as the workers tried desperately to scan barcodes on the tickets (with trouble)Liked: The size of the venue and how all seats are really very good.

The Lebanon Opera House is a really great space to see whatever it is they are showing. I've been twice and have sat in the orchestra and in the balcony. Better view from the balcony. If they're still doing it, listen to The Point (104.7 - Montpelier or 103.1 - White River) for possible free tickets on Ticket Window Wednesdays.

Love the Lebanon Opera House. Every year, I return for Opera North's season. This month, it was for My Fair Lady and La Traviata, and both performances were excellent. We sat on the left-side of the orchestra stall seats, and, although seated in row H, the company decided not to fill the earlier rows in this section. As a result, we had a splendid, uninterrupted view of the performers, as well as the orchestra, which made it even more magical and enjoyable.Seats were comfortable and acoustics were very good. Always a pleasure to come here for a performance. Note: If you cannot face the stairs, the Lebanon Opera House has a special entry on the right-side of the building for handicapped visitors. In addition, there is an elevator to get you to the main auditorium. Parking is plentiful, and there are a couple of restaurants nearby for a meal beforehand at Three Tomatoes or at the Salt hill Pub. Both have outdoor seating during the summer months.

It is a nice place for a performance. Not much signage outside and inside couldn't really tell if I needed to go upstairs or down, and needing a cane didn't want to do that twice. The seats were comfortable, lighting was fine and the acoustics were good.
