Thanks for stopping by, Richard W and for bringing your one-year old to the Museum. We kind of think that you can never be too young, or too old, to view art! We hope to see you again.
  • PaulinePinard
Hi PaulinePinard: Thanks for the thumbs up on our Currier After Hours events. The 70s event you mentioned was pretty memorable--we're still talking about it here in the Museum. Tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House start up again in mid-April and tickets will be on sale starting April 1.
  • 816dianel
Hi Diane L: Glad you enjoyed the Escher exhibition. We install new special exhibitions at the Currier roughly every four months (Photorealism and Richard Estes are up now) and we also make changes to our permanent collection fairly frequently, so we hope you stop by again sometime.
  • mrickett
Hi mrickett: Thanks for the great review. Just to let you and others know, the Zimmerman House is closed every year from early January through mid-April so we can preserve the building and the fragile items inside. Tickets will go on sale for the 2015 tours in early April. Keep an eye on our website and our Facebook feed for the latest information on when tickets go on sale.

Hi badabing77474I'm glad you like our expansion! The Winter Garden Café has become a popular lunch spot and has also been the spot for quite a few weddings and events since we opened it in 2008. Travelers (and locals) may not know that you don't have to pay for Museum admission to eat at the Café, but why not check out the art while you're here, too. :) Thanks for the review!

Hi James F,Thanks for visiting from Portland. You have a wonderful museum there, too, and they recently had a show of photorealistic paintings by Richard Estes. If you saw that show you'll love our focus exhibition that opens on 2/14 featuring works by Estes in the Currier's collection, including two amazing new acquisitions, a painting and a screenprint. Check out the Exhibitions and News sections of our website for all of the details. See you again!
  • UKJohnN
Thanks UK John N. You've pretty much made my day! We hope you have a chance to stop by again sometime.
  • 689beverlyc
Thanks, Beverly C. Just so you know, we change our special exhibitions about every four months, so there's always something new to see here. We hope you stop by again soon to see our new Photorealism and Richard Estes shows. The latter opens on 2/14.

Hi Ken C: It's funny you should mention lighting because we just included an article in our Member's magazine on the difficulties we faced switching to LED lighting. It sounds like we got it right, though! Thanks for visiting!
  • Anclife
Thanks for being a Currier Member, Anclife. It's nice to hear that you like the art we have on view and our staff, too!
  • PhineastheCat
HI PhineastheCat and thanks for the kind review. Just so you and everyone else knows, our free to New Hampshire residents hours actually run from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, so you have two hours to get in for free and can stay the whole day, if you want! Come by this weekend for the opening of our new exhibition, "Still Life: 1970s Photorealism." It's amazing!

Hello Michael: Thank you for your candid review of the Currier. We do appreciate constructive feedback from our visitors and you will hear from our Guest Services team within the next few days to get more information from you. I know that last year you gave the Currier a five-star review, so we obviously fumbled in a big way during your wife and daughter's recent visit during the exceptionally popular Escher exhibition. If I correctly read your review here, as well as your email, your family was not given their stickers showing that they had paid for admission to the Escher exhibition. Certainly the fault is on our end for that occurrence during those exceptionally busy days. It goes without saying that our team could have done a better job of getting those stickers to your family, once the error was determined. The Escher exhibition taught us a lot and we will take all suggestions, positive and negative, into consideration when determining future policy. We have been fortunate that almost all comments we've received recently, both on TripAdvisor and elsewhere, have been quite positive. That said, even one negative comment gives us pause. All best...Steve Konick, Director of PR & Marketing

Hello varneykr: Thanks for your review and our apologies for any issues experienced during your recent visit. We experienced massive attendance during the last week of the Escher exhibition and it certainly taught us many lessons we can apply to help manage future "blockbuster" exhibitions. We hope you'll stop by again in the future, and yes, NH residents get free Museum general admission on Saturday mornings from 10 to noon. :)
  • rmac34
Hi Rmac34: We love our Winter Garden Café team and the food they serve. The menu just changed recently, so there's lots of new stuff to try. Related to this, visitors who want to just eat at the Café or make a purchase in the Museum Shop can do so without having to pay Museum general admission. See you again!

Hi 900Paula2011: It's great to hear that you came up from Providence to see the Escher show and that you had an enjoyable visit. You're right about the parking lot, but we are very fortunate to have lots of free street parking all around the Museum. Please visit us again!
