warner lake park

The beach gets crowded on weekends and can be so in the evening. Decent beach, sand is clean, bottom of the lake not mucky. quite a few walking trails with a fair number of decent hills wind thru the park. Nice park, well maintained.

Very well kept park, met the park attendant on the trails, he gave us a park map and asked how we are. Very nice guy, very nice park...great for geocaching!!

This park is always a stop for us when in the area motorcycling. There are plenty of spots to view the lake. The beach is often being utilized on warm days. We also see folks enjoying the picnic pavilions with parties. This is a great spot to stretch and relax on a beautiful day riding.

Not sure if he was a park ranger or what his title was, but the place is abandoned and I was walking a dog off leash. Deep in the woods Remember the place is empty. The guy who wants to make surtain I know he is in charge, wearing what looks like a fake kids Sheriff star. Comes pulling up in his off road vehicle Tells me I will be fined 150. For not having the dog on a leash. I apologized and told him I was from out of state and didn't know about the leash ordinance in the county. He was a crab about it. I think he saw me pull in and couldn't wait to tell me I was doing something wrong. so he hunted me down. No wonder the place is abandoned.

to many dogs at the beach water is not very clear fun for the kids

Unless you don't have a park near you, I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. The lake is nice, and the park is a good place for kids to go and play. It doesn't go above and beyond other parks.
