This is a great museum to have in a small rural area. My son, brother and I visited here today and I was very impressed with the time, energy, thought and money that went into creating this. My son, 6 loves anything war related and especially fighter planes so he was in high heaven. They have actual sand from Omaha Beach and the army jeep that Omar Bradley drove! Many media displays, have great line of restored aircraft and even a library full of World War II books. If you have any interest in World War II this is highly recommended. Well done Fagen family and other contributor's. .P.S. it`s free!

Such a treasure to have in a small town! Many public events which honor veterans and teach the history of war and the men and women who lived it.

This is one of the best museums in the USA, so nicely done and informative. Great to see a family bring this together and create a museum that has passion! This place resonates what people and the military had to use when flying aircraft. As museum owner myself, I recommend this museum to all at it truely is done in a professional manner by a family that experienced so much. Great Job!

1st, thanks Fagen family for sharing your planes with the public. Second, what a cool museum. I've seen the airplanes at several airshows but the buildings and equipment inside them are really interesting. I thought the WWII glider display was very intersting. It was much larger than I pictured in my head.

If you're anywhere close to Granite Falls drive that extra mile and see this museum. Earlier reviewers have done an excellent job of describing the many attractions within the grounds, about the only one I could add is a replica of a flight briefing room which is pretty cool. This is one of those hidden treasures off the beaten path which I would highly recommend you visit.

Wonderful WWII museum! The collection of planes is outstanding! Informative displays to read and videos to watch. The library is a gem!

The Fagen family has collected this fine group of WWII aircraft as well as several other pieces of era ground support equipment. Among the highlights is one of only six flying P-38 Lightenings in existence. The entire complex is made to simulate a WWII airbase, even with a control tower that is true to the period. There are many touch screen displays that tell the stories of the various aircraft and of WWII history. The entire exhibit is done in high quality detail. I have been to several aircraft museums and there are none done any better than this one. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission is free with a free will donation option. This is a tremendous preservation of is great part of our history.

A lot of money has been put into this museum that is dedicated to the WWII airplanes and history. A replica of the Beach of Normandy is very life-like. (It is really cool!) The jeep of General Patton is actually there! It is a very interesting place--especially if you are a WWII buff!
