Powder Ridge is quite small - you see that from the map. They have a decent terrain park for the kids. Snow grooming was good and lift lines were manageable even on the weekend.

People at Powder Ridhge Tubing were great. The hills are fun and well groomed. Great family fun. Will be back.

We brought 3 kids aged 9, 10 and 11 and we all had a ball! Smiling and giggling until our lips hurt. 3 hours was plenty for us.

I have been skiing at Powder Ridge for over 15 years, and it feels like a second home to me. Powder Ridge might be small compared to mountain skiing, but it is a perfect place for families. Beginners can start out on the bunny hill, and then move to the chairlift to continue learning on the longest run out at Powder Ridge. Intermediates have plenty of runs to practice on and improve their skills. Advanced skiers and snowboarders have 3 black diamond runs plus 3 terrain parks to push their limits. Another great thing is that chairlift lines are usually short or non-existent, giving you more time to enjoy the slopes. Powder Ridge has a total of 15 runs, 3 chairlifts, a rope tow in one terrain park, and a J-bar plus a rope tow on the bunny hill. Lessons are available, and there is a kids club that offers lessons to very little kids. For those who are more adventurous, racing offers a great challenge. The employees are always very friendly making you feel very welcomed, and customer service is great with employees genuinely wishing you a fun-filled day. The tubing hill is a wonderful place for the entire family to enjoy winter together. Rollers on the tubing hill offer non-stop fun, and employees will give you a spin at the top if you wish. If you are looking to get out and enjoy winter together as a family, with friends, or just want to enjoy the slopes alone, Powder Ridge is the perfect place! The groomers always do an excellent job, so you can be sure the conditions will be good to awesome every day of the season. Be sure to bring extra layers along for the sometimes cold winter breezes.

Having a season pass I was out about 30 times this season. It is a very nice Minnesota hill considering the lack of mountains we have. Runs are not very long and to a more experienced skier or boarder the black diamonds are more in the range of an easy blue run. But it allows for repetition which is important for skill building. I do really like their terrain park. They have a lot a features and you can make laps all day with the rope. They also take very good care of it and change it up often. Not to mention they have 4 parks south park being the largest and north having the largest features. The staff is also very nice and the hill maintance is very professional. So I would say the hills open runs are good for beginner skiers and boarders. (They will get boring though the better you get.). The park is very nice for people looking to hit rails and other features. Jumps are not large but allow you to do some basic stuff.

Received a gift card as a Xmas present and used it with my family on our first ever visit to Powder Ridge. For whatever reason, there was an issue with the gift card redemption that created some issues, including me to have to pay a portion of the fee with cash. However, after a few hiccups, we were up the tubing hill and had a great morning. After returning from the tubing, Powder Ridge was very supportive and apologethic over the gift card issues. Not only did they remedy the issue, but provided us with a xtra refund for our troubles as well as issuing a new gift card. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and a real nice time, looking forward to returning again this winter!

We live on a prairie. Flat, devoid of trees, and in the summer covered with corn and beans. No, Powder Ridge is not the Alps but it's a pretty good substitute when the only other way to slalom ski around here is behind a boat during summer months! Seriously it's good fun. Great racing, snowboard park, and hospitality.

These guys do a good job with what they have. It's a fun time and all things considered, reasonably priced. Of course Mother Nature plays a big roll and the natural snow is always best but they do well with what they have. Good place to take the family during a long MN winter

We liked Powder Ridge better than Buck Hill. We went early after a night of 2 inches of fresh snow. The groomers had done a very good job the night before. The slopes were well groomed with no ridges under the snow that can catch edges. The best part was the lack of lift lines compared to places around the cities. They have a lot of lifts compared to trails, and most lifts were operating. We were able to get up to the top without wasting time waiting in line. The slopes are Minnesota length (short), so not spending time at the bottom was appreciated.

Powder ridge is a good place to Ski or Snowboard. They have a big practice or “bunny” hill for beginners which have a rope pull and an L shaped bar to pull you up. They also have hills for intermediate to advanced, if I remember right there is about 6 or so different paths you can take. There are also a couple of free style terrains which sometimes incorporates a half pipe. The lodge has food you can order inside and also a bar you can sit at to ease your pain from falling. A pass can be pretty pricey, but they have deals on certain days and a discount rate after 4:00pm I believe on weekdays. If you do plan to go later at night, the bunny hill will usually be packed down and icy due to so much use during the day, so be prepared for that. Overall, it is always a fun time and will most likely be getting a season pass this year.

I have been here on various occasions and have never been disappointed! They offer snow tubing, skiing, and snowboarding slopes! Each of these slopes has a tow rope or conveyor belt which brings you to the top of the hill. It gets you there without you having to really break a sweat! Dress plenty warm, because it can get cold with the cold wind blowing on you as you speed down the hills! IF you do get too cold, you can retreat to the lodge! The lodge is a large building where you can buy food and just warm up! It offers a great experience for all snow sport lovers!
