This was one of the most unexpected gems of the trip. They have precisely captured their small towns history. From Mr. Johnson's hair clippers from the first Barber shop in town to wedding dresses from 1800's marriages. If you like museums - go to this. So cute!

I liked that this small museum is very organized, clean and the docents were very helpful with questions we had

A small museum that is full of local history .. so much to see in a small space. Take the time as you could miss a lot.

This small museum gives the history of this small town through the artifacts of residents. A sweet place and a worthwhile visit, especially if you stop and chat for a bit.

Wonderful little museum packed with quite alot of interesting items on three floors. Well worth the free admission. Do give a donation.

We weren't expecting it to be as interesting as it was! full of little treasures. The best part is that it is free and they just ask for donations if possible. We learned a lot about the Norwegian heritage of Lanesboro.

There are three floors packed with lots of Lanseboro history. They even had a resident play professional baseball . He played against Babe Ruth, Lou Gerig and more. Did you know buffalo bill Cody's first Wild West show was here. Cool

This museum is a good place to pick up some of the local history. Some of the displays were eclectic, and it isn't the Smithsonian -- but that adds to the charm of the museum. A fun little place to stop for an hour or two.
