Particularly if you grew up or live in the Midwest, and love to fish, this is a stop well worth your time. The artifacts from the early days of fishing include rods, reels, tackle, and motors. You will be encircled by mounts of very kind of fish available in the lakes, rivers and streams of Minnesota. I consider myself a "history buff" and this museum spoke to me. Step into an ice shanty, read about the legends of Minnesota fishing, see photos that make you wish you were a teenager in the '20s. The facility is well kept, well organized and the staff is extremely pleasant.

My husband's mother had submitted a few of his Dad's fishing items after Dad passed away several years ago. We wanted to see those pieces of family history in this wonderful and fun museum.

Small, neat with many items of interest to serious fishermen and women. Took about 30 mins but worth the $4.00 for seniors if interested in fishing.
