mount ski gull

Our group of 4 adults had a great time at Mount Ski Gull. This was an inexpensive outdoor activity. We loved the tow rope tube set up and the wood campfire was an added touch that we enjoyed.

Really a pretty decent place to ski! Kids said they definitely prefer the runs at Wild Mountain or Trollhaugen but I loved the pricing for food/lift tickets/rentals and they still had a blast. Really wish the chalet was bigger... I would definitely recommend getting there nice and early if you want to sit down. Staff wasn't super friendly at all (and down right bizarre about selling beer- don't offer it if you don't want to sell it) but they were effective. Just don't expect warm and fuzzy service :) We will definitely return.

I went to mount ski gull with my friends and went skiing, we had loads of fun, the food was AMAZING and I loved the workers they were very friendly. Definitely coming back in December!!!!

Had a great time at Ski Gull with the entire family. Four kids aged 4, 7, 12 and 15 had a great time tubing with their parents and grandparents. Tons of fun. 12 year old decided to snow board for first time. Rental crew was not the friendliest. Still had a great time, and a girl giving lessons on the slopes helped us out. She was terrific. Lunch was a little tough. Forgot an order, not the friendliest (Minnesota nice), took a while, but the 15 year old loved his burger. All in all, however, it was a great time had by all. Easy, fun, not too crowded, and we definitely will return.

For family vacations Brainerd, MN has always been an excellent choice and Mount Ski Gull is one of the the reasons for that. One of the biggest tubing hills in the state and several runs for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Food and beverages served in the main building.
