Every year we gather family and friend for a fun day at Sever's! Prices are reasonable and there is just so much for the kids to do. Our favorite is the immense corn pit ( and now thay have 2!), but the petting zoo, the hay maze, the birds house they are all equally awesome! Yes, and you hear me right, it is possible to spend close to a full day there - they have live band, live magic shows and more, pretty much all included in your entrance fee ( aside the great fair food - which is also so cool). Even if you don;t have kids you will have fun!

This is the second year we've been and it is alot of fun. Our toddler and preschooler had an absolute blast. You can use a credit card and an easy-to-find coupon for entry, and then you'll need cash onhand for fair type food once inside. Wear comfortable shoes and expect to be in the elements all day. There are no permanent structures on site; only tents and portapotties. You would be hard pressed to visit each activity in a day. There are pumpkins available for purchase on your way out too. They have stuff for all ages. This place is a seasonal must for couples and families. We look forward to it each year. My suggestion: you would be amazed how fun it is to take your shoes off and chase each other around in a swimming pool - sized bin of corn.

No matter your age this is a definite stop in early Fall; however you will see mostly families. The food was delicious even if it was pricey...just like the fair. Shows for the kids and various activities (corn maze, petting zoo, corn pit, pumpkin launcher, camrl rides). Some activities had an extra fee on addition to the admission fee. I would have given an excellent rating if it was more affordable. There was even a big screen TV for the family members that didn't want to miss the football game.

The Severs corn maze is a local staple in fall fun. While the main attraction is the maze, there is much more to do and see. There are pumpkins for sale at the entrance. There are two bounce pads (a bounce house without the house!), one for smaller children and one for older. Each group of children is given 5 minutes of jumping time. The maze is quite simple. You receive a map and are supposed to find the different signs along the way. There are two large corn kernel filled pits which was a fun attraction for young and old. Also there is a long slide, music, pony or camel rides, and a tent with exotic animals. While most of the animals looked well taken care of, the ponies for pony rides and bird exhibit looked awful and mismanaged. Although there was no charge for ages under 4, the cost for adults was pretty high. The corn pits and bounce pads, animal tent and a few other activities were free; others had a small fee that would add up quickly. The food stands were fairly priced for that type of event and had hamburgers, corn dogs, cheese curds, mini donuts, etc.

I live in Tennessee and my 8 and 10 year old boys live in Minnesota. I always come up to be with them when they are off for MEA in October, an this is our 3rd year going to the Sever's Corn Maze. There are just so many things for them to do.We always go along the same path starting with the Jumping Pillows then going to the Corn Pit. We then go to the Hay Ride, the Giant Slide, and then the Straw Bale Maze. After this, we go into the Corn Maze. This year it was a big TRAIN, which my 8 year old loved. We went the entire trail this year and found all of the checkpoints....YAY! We then go in the firetruck, the Extreme Corn Pit, and we even shot the Pumpkin Blasters this year. Thankfully, they wanted to skip the Petting Zoo.We especially loved two things this year. First, the Canary Tent. You pay $1 with a stick with some food on it and you go into the tent. The canaries land right on your stick and eat. This is always a hit to all. Also, sometimes they get spooked and all 50 or so birds fly around the tent. It is awesome....and a bit terrifying at the same time! The other thing we loved were the FRESH CHEESE CURDS. In Tennessee you can get curds at places like Culvers and Dairy Queen, but you can tell these are freshly dipped and ohhhhh so yummy! Thanks for another great year Sever's.....we will see you again next October!

Many places advertise a long list of things to do "and more!!". Sever's corn maze follows through on their promise of lots of quality activities and the good news is that after paying your $13 admission, most of the activities are free or charge a nominal fee. The food is typical fair food, but I was pretty unimpressed with the corn on the cob, which should be top notch at a corn maze. That being said, the reason to go here is for the activities, not the food. They have a free magic show which is worth the price of admission, which is fun for the adults and the kids. They have two giant corn kernel pits for the kids to play in, hay rides, two giant bouncing pillows, a giant slide, an old fashioned band playing music, face painting and obviously the corn maze. The grounds are large so even though it was busy it's not claustrophobic. I highly recommend Sever's corn maze for families with kids.

This was my first year at Sever's Corn Maze. There was adequate parking when we first arrived and I loved that they sold pumpkins and gords at the entrance/exit! The lines were short for purchasing tickets. I was a little disappointed that the price was $13 for an adult. I'm 30 and didn't bring any children. This is geared more towards children so I think the children prices should have been more or they should have lowered the price for an adult...$13 is ridiculous! In addition to the prices, you also had to pay for anything else you wanted to do such as ride the giant slide, pumpkin launching, face painting, feed the animals....it just seems like a rip-off to me. Other than that negative comment, the maze was super easy - too easy for an adult, but the kids would LOVE this! I expected the maze to be completely damaged and it's not at all. We found all of the pertinent points of the maze and had fun. We 'watched' pumpkin launching because we didn't want to pay, we 'watched' people go down the giant slide because we didn't want to pay. We did buy $1 Dixie cup to feel the animals. This was pretty cool! They had all kinds of rare animals and it was really fun to get close to these things. We had a ton of fun doing this even though feeding the animals was $1. All of the animals are inspected, so I was okay with them being at this event and supporting them by buying $1 worth of food. The best part about this place is the corn pit; there are two! This was FREE and we loved it! As dirty as it is! There's something about diving into a pile of corn that just makes you happy! All in all, it was a wonderful place for kids and adults (adults who have kids or go with kids). I had fun, but I don't think I'll return without my own kids or someone else's kids. I did have a nice Sunday at Sever's Corn Maze in Shakopee, MN. It was something different for a change!

This place is truly a family delight. There is so much fun to be had here---jumping in the corn pits (there are two),the corn maze, the hay bales maze, hundreds of pumpkins all sizes and shapes. We had a most enjoyable experience here and will definitely return next year!

The kids are tired when they leave here! A day of jumping on the huge 'pillows', crawling, swimming and jumping into the two corn pits and playing tag on the hay bale maze...I was more tired then them! Add in a great petting zoo and canary tent and it a a full day of fun activities!

I love Sever's Corn Maze so much! I went on a cool day with a friend when hardly anyone was around and had so much fun. The corn pit is always a must and if the front corn pit is too crowded, try the extreme corn pit located out back (it includes ropes to swing from and monkey bars to climb on). My personal favorite are the bouncing trampoline-like pillows-they're awesome. It's a great place for friends, family, or even a casual date.

This was our first time coming to the Sever's corn maze and I must say we loved every minute of it. There was an exotic petting zoo (not that I would say it was very exotic but it was alot of fun). The corn maze was fun and we will come back again next year.

The workers in the maze were very rude. My friends and I were falsely accused of throwing corn and creating a ruckus. After half an hour of the workers yelling and swearing at us we were shown out of the maze without a thirteen dollar refund. rude.

Love this place. We visit every year and have a blast each time. They keep adding new things. LOVED the parakeet paradise area. Parakeets fly up to you and land all over you. We could spend hours in the corn pit, rolling around and jumping into it. The grandparents had a great time too in the corn pit. Maze is great every year. Petting zoo is fantastic and the we love the decent price.

In addition to the corn maze (it changes every year so it is always new) there are many kids events, some costumed characters, food and fun. Very seasonal, so check it out when it is open.
