This is a great amusement park for families. I went on all the roller coasters and all were really fun rides. My favorite's are Renegade, Wild Thing, and Excalibur. The scariest ride there is Steel Venom since it has a kinda rough stall in the middle of the ride. The most surprising ride is the new Northern Lights. It gives more airtime than you think it does. My favorite flat ride (which everyone who isn't super sensitive to swinging should try at least one time) is the Xtreme Swing. The only con is the food is very expensive so bring your own lunch. They also have tons of rides for kids. Another pro is the lines are a lot shorter than other Cedar Fair parks. Overall, this a fun Cedar Fair park that the whole family is garanteed to enjoy.

Great way to spend the day. Spendy and you pay $10 to park but we have tricks to get the most out of it. When spending the whole day with the whole family we like to get there early and rent a cabana in the water park to use as a home base. Price can vary depending on time of season but is well worth it. That way after spending all that money getting in you have a place to relax, recharge for the rest of the day. If it is just the two of us we tailgate lunch. Pack a big cooler. You can go to the lot, eat and re-enter the park. The dinosaur attraction is extra and most of the music acts are gone but new/upgraded rides are added most every year. They added some chain fast food a few years ago so you don’t have to eat just the same old carnival foods. We love it and take our friends and family there when they visit. we live close by so we go at least once a year. Some years we had season passes which we used for may short visits.

Something for almost everyone. Rides for little & big kids. Waterpark is getting a makeover so it will be bigger & better than ever this year.

Great Value on the season passes. The best deal is if you purchase them in the fall for the next year.

It is by far the best amusement park in Minnesota. MOA is fine for the winter but in the summer this place is tops. I went there with my friends from opening to closing. Only thing wrong with it is that it is pretty pricy.

There should be a reasonable price for parents, that would allow them to enter the park, but not partake of any rides. When taking my pre teens I never wanted to ride the rides, I was just there as chauffeur and a wallet. I hated paying for the privilege. Still, plenty of entertainment, a nice clean park and if you ARE a ride rider, you can get your money's worth!

Great rides for every age group. Old included. Food for every appetite. Landscape full of flowers. Place is really clean and rides are safe. Would definitely return.

Lots of things to do while you are there, all the rides you can think of and a lot of different foods to try. We also like to watch the shows and the IMax theater is awesome!

I 've got this feeling on a summer day when I was at Valleyfair.Hey! Let's check out the THUNDER CANYON ride. YAH! Let's , agreed all my friends and family. You need to wear clothes, no bare feet. Then you will sit in a big raft. There was 5 of us.Then the ADVENTURE begins as you are swept down turbulent, rapid, white, waters.OH NO!!! WATCH OUT FOR THE WATERFALLS!!!! Then everyone SCREAMS,LAUGHS, CRIES,and SWEARS as torrents of water pour down your head and fully clothed body. You will get soaked to the bone. But who cares. You just will sing:"I don't care, I love it !!!" Then you go back on the ride 5 more times! SWEET!!! LOL!

Great place. Lots of things to do. Great variety of food. The only reason I gave 4 out 5 is because the later in the evening you stay the more you begin seeing people's true colors. Some of the workers were rude, people budging in line.I suggest going early.

I will never again spend money to go to Valleyscare. It might be ok if you go during a week day or in the morning, but honestly who wants to do that?? It is Halloween season, it needs to be dark! We went at 6:00 on Saturday 10/18/2014 and spent $42 per ticket oh and on top of that ridiculous price, it costs $12 to park. I knew we were in trouble the moment we drove through the entrance, the lot was COMPLETELY full (but we had already purchased the tickets....). I used to go to valleyfair as a kid and we knew the lines were going to be long if the lot was close to full and that was when the ENTIRE park was open. With Valleyscare the park is not fully open so good luck. We were there until 11pm and made it on 3 RIDES, 5 hours - 3 RIDES. We didn't even try to go into the haunted houses because the lines were wrapped around the park. We only went on Renegade, Wild Thing, and Power Tower (the blue one, even though we all preferred the red one, but the line was more bearable). I'm not usually one to complain, but this was a complete WASTE OF MONEY. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know not to go there. Valleyscare needs to start regulating the number of people they allow into the park. They need to stop letting people in the doors if the longest lines have gotten to a certain point (I'd say 45 minutes MAX.) Thanks Valleyscare for saving me a significant amount of money next Halloween season -- > silver lining.

We visited ValleyScare witch is a haunted version of ValleyFair. With the high cost of admission, keeping in mind that the majority of those that pay to get in to ValleyFair, the cost of food and beverages are VERY high! We bought food from a food truck, we got a shrimp po boy sandwich. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The cost was $10. The worst part is that is was a bit spicy so it required a beverage. I purchased 2 sodas, which were the size of a medium drink anywhere else and the clerk said, "$8.53 please" in shock I said, "for 2 pops"? when she said yes, I was floored. $8.53 for a glass of pop which probably cost them less then a dollar, not to mention it was half full of ice. Seems as though they are taking advantage of our kids. Now as for ValleyScare itself, I thought it was very fun, and I would visit again, but it makes me angry that fun things for our kids can't be affordable.
