Visited this winery during a Minnesota February. The wines were good, we especially like the Raspberry dessert wine. I don't recommend visiting in the winter as they use porta potties out on their deck. The porta pottie was clean but very very cold. There was no indoor toilet available to our party.

Enjoyed taste testing a few wines here. They also have available dessert wines. Pleasant employee explained wines well. They really do make some fine wines. Also visit their bakery next door.

My parents and I visited this winery in the fall and really enjoyed ourselves. The dry white wines were superb and we were able to enjoy a bottle on the winery deck. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely visit again.

We did enjoy several wines. Talked to an employee that gave us very personalized service and they were very nice. It is busy there, but that's a fall weekend as is most wineries. Good winery.

Nothing special, didn't care so much for the wine. Don't go on a weekend because it is very crowded. I thought the prices of the wine were high compared to other wineries in the Wisconsin and MN areas. Very nice building.

We went here for a wine tasting and found an over-run apple orchard. If you are looking for a crowded apple orchard, this is your place. Lots to do, and a barn full of food and crafts. But we wanted to taste wine. We decided to forge ahead and try the wine as long as we came this far. Upon entering the wine tasting room, they collected $6 each for the tasting. A fair price I thought. when room at the bar opened up we were cheerfully greeted by a server who informed me that I could only taste the 5 wines they picked (only one was a red wine, which is what we drink) My wife was willing to try them, but I said I would just skip it. The server did give me a drink ticket for a glass out in the tent. So another line and then i got a OK glass of wine. We then left.I will say that we have had their Port and it was wonderful, but as for winetasting, stay away during apple harvest time.

My wife and I travel around, doing wine tasting, and more importantly, enjoying the winery itself. We really enjoyed this stop. The view of the fields and lakes were beautiful. If you enjoy wine tasting, don't pass this place by. Our favorites were : Riesling and Marechal Fuch Reserve. Excellent wines. Great place to spend some time.

I don't know how often they do it, but I would go back and do it again. They had a friendly competition going on while stomping grapes. It's definitely a fun experience. Wine tasting and apple goodies galore.

Short drive from Stillwater and Woodbury. Cute little tasting area with some good wines! There is also an apple orchard next door for those not wine inclined :-) My favorite part? Meeting Sue, the resident greeter. They have done a wonderful job working grape varieties from the University of Minnesota. Knowledgeable staff and is totally worth the drive!

My wife and I recently visited here at St Croix Vineyards and had a delightful afternoon. We enjoyed a bottle of Cabernet and listened to their Blue Grass band on the patio. We toured a number of the vendors on the property while we sipped wine. The wine was good and the atmosphere very pleasant. This is our third trip to these Vineyards and we will certainly be back.

I love visiting St Croix Vineyards. Not only is the wine wonderful but the atmosphere is very pleasing. The staff is very helpful with any questions or needs you have. It's great to sit outdoors, have a picnic and enjoy some great wine!

we really enjoyed the wine tasting here, and the owners are really nice. Wines reasonably priced. Loved the ice wines!!!

A friend and I were in Minneapolis for the weekend and we wanted to get out of the Twin Cities area and do some wine tasting. We took a chance on Saint Croix and we truly lucked out! The land is scenic, remote, and peaceful. The wine was reasonably priced and the staff allowed us to take our time during the tasting. I am a dry wine fan, and they have plenty of dry options to choose from. SCV has a great little patio, so definitely exercise this option when the weather is nice. Check out the bathroom walls- they're covered in old newspapers...really cool!

This is a great place to go with friends... prices have changed (up!), but overall still a fun time.

We had another great experience at SCV this weekend- our second time there. The wines were very good and we brought home 6 bottles! (The LaCrescent Ice is outstanding!) I think it was Torre who did our wine tasting, and she was great. She is incredibly knowledgeable but not pushy. We've been visiting many MN wineries for a few years and SCV just edged out our favorite for the top spot. The wines are even better this year and the people are so friendly. A must stop for wine lovers.
