We just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary and even though it was very cold outside, the blankets provided kept us nice and cozy! The Minneapolis Grand River tour was the perfect way to relax and peacefully capture the beauty of the city. The driver was very nice and the horse was so beautiful. Such a wonderful surprise for me and I would recommend this tour to anyone! :-)

My daughter got a gift certificate for her 5th birthday. She brought two friends and me (mom). We went for a 30 minute ride. It was perfect! Very comfortable carriage, beautiful horse and wonderful driver! The scenery was beautiful and we saw numerous wedding parties, which the girls got a kick out of!

A truly amazing way to spend the evening. I highly recommend the Grand River tour as it is away from the hustle of Hennepin Ave and a more romantic setting. Our driver, Carol, was excellent and very knowledgable. The horse, Marble, was beautiful. Thank you for a memorable experience! We will certainly be back.

Attractive, clean carriage pulled by a beautiful horse (Frank) and guided by a gentlemanly host. Lovely sights. We had amazing weather as well. Could be a great date, though we went as a family with 2 young children (4 and 1) and they had grins on their faces for most of the ride.

We had a group of four who all ebjoyed the ride very much. This is something we would definetely do again. Our driver was a sweet young lady who was very knowlegable about the area and the horse.

We couldn't finish our ride due to the smell from the horse poop. Try to go there before the poop. We cut our ride short. I asked for a refund but they said no. Our driver was nice.

Loved our 60 minute tour around Nicollet Island area with Emily and Marble! Would do it again! Attn adult kid looking for something affordable to give your parents for their Anniversay? This is perfect! My husband loved it as much as I did.

Our evening out was a gift from a daughter who never can figure what to give us. By far this was one of her better gifts. We enjoyed the evening with a beautiful hour ride from The Nicollet Inn and ending with going over the Stone Arch Bridge. Since we live in Lakeville and do get to Minneapolis often we have discovered a new area that we plan to return to visit again. Marble the horse and his driver, Beth, took us on a most memorable ride. I would for sure recommend this experience, even if it is not for a special occasion.

I wanted to surprise my wife with a carriage ride for our 22nd wedding anniversary. I got their phone number from The Nicollet Inn. We were picked up in front of the Inn at 6:30 sharp. A beautiful white carriage with red interior. Our driver, Emily and Marbles, the horse, made our ride very enjoyable. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again. We have some nice pictures and great memories of our evening together. My wife absolutely Loved the ride. Thank You Steve & Kim.

My wife and I took the 1 hour tour from the Nicollet Island Inn, and it was fantastic! We were on the 9:30 tour, so the city was quiet and dark. Our tour guide was very casual and friendly - we had pet Mike the horse and chatted with the driver (who's name I wish I could remember) earlier in the day, so were very happy when we realized she was our driver that night. It was magically romantic and fun. I can recommend to anybody to take a ride with the Hitching Company.
