prairie moon winery and vineyards

Went to a wedding and reception. Wedding outside was very well set up as was the reception hall. Staff was helpful. Wines were excellent. It was a warm day (80s) and humid. The Hall had difficulty keeping it comfortable. The staff did the best they could and explained they had cooled it down before the reception. Kudos for using geo-thermal to heat and cool. Later the opened up all the doors and it became very comfortable. Caterer did a great job with food. We would like to go there again to visit winery also.

It is in the country, but close to Ames, has a terrific view of the vineyards, and is a large space for gatherings.

This winery has great staff and a fabulous room for wedding receptions, meetings, etc. The view out onto the vineyard is truly lovely. The tasting room has charm and fun items available for purchase, along with of course, good wine!
