Aunt Hattie's is fun, fun, fun! I just love being surprised over and over by the clever and unique things in Aunt Hattie's every time I go through Le Claire. I stock up on cute gifts for my family and friends and fun things for parties. Donna is just so friendly and welcoming that she makes every visit an event. Some of my favorite jewelry and handbags are also from there. One time I even called long distance and Aunt Hattie helped me with ideas for my extensive Christmas list, then mailed a few gifts for me. I travel a lot and love finding quirky little shops along the way, but Aunt Hattie's is the best.

If you've ever searched Amazon.com for "Amazon oddities" because you like to find unique and silly items, this is a great store for you. It was fun to walk through this store and read the silly signs, unusual greeting cards, toys for big kids, political tacky joke items, alcohol and drug related items, beer signs, - unusual stuff! Just walking through the store was entertainment in itself!
