It is filled with antiques of all kinds and fun to browse, but it is expensive. This place has antique furniture of all kinds, and a beautiful antique bar that is huge. It is fun to visit this store; it did, however, have a going-out-of-business sign so it may be closing soon.

Having visited many antique stores in the Midwest I find this to be one of the best quality antique dealers in the middle of America. Banowetz Antiques is located in Maquoketa Iowa in Jackson County 20 miles from the Mississippi River.
