Always a great place to see and stay. Very unique features like the tunnel and ford. Clean restrooms, lots of shade, wildlife, and peaceful. If you want to really get away, this is the place. The staff takes pride in the park and goes out of their way to keep it clean and usable. Yurts are a fun, unique, experience.

This is a nice little park with lots of wildlife, a tunnel through a backbone ridge, a useable ford across middle river when water levels permit, and a comfortable little campground that can be in the trees or more in the open. It isn't advertised much as the county seems to lean toward advertising more on the bridges, but in my opinion, the park is a much better use of your sightseeing time

Loved going under tunnel. Wish we would have went to Middle River Ford while we were there too. Kids loved the area. Looked like a great camping place too.

Very nice campground. Friendly and helpful camp hosts. The information available online needs to add directions for larger rv's to use the back gravel entrance to avoid the low bridge at the main entrance.

Pammel Park was nice. There are lots of trees that give areas of the park a beautiful, and shady atmosphere. There is a spot you can cool off for a swim or splash. I thought the tunnel was unique, it was neat to drive through. The campgrounds were off the beaten path, and would make a nice getaway for this area. The roads could be challenging for inexperienced owners of large campers, example 30ft. 5th wheel. Smaller campers would be more ideal for the somewhat twisty, and hilly roads. The tunnel is another potential obstacle to consider. So best to call and find out some details if your unsure.Overall, a nice place to spend the day away from it all, and enjoy the great outdoors.

A beautiful park, located a few miles east of Roseman Bridge. Always fun to drive thru the old stone tunnel and across the Middle River Ford. Helps if you have an SUV to drive across the water!
