We showed up with 12 people and they were not open, but opened up for us and it was great. You must do this. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had a great time here.

We were walking around McCall on our first visit and happened to walk into the Ice Center and met the manager. He told us about the Jr Steelheads Hockey Team that plays there and they would be playing that night. He showed us around and really made us feel welcome and we were back for the hockey game that evening. The hockey game was quite an event lots of enthusiastic fans, excellent music when the clock was stopped and the manager also proved to be quite an announcer during the game.The hockey was wide open and exciting couldn't belive the skills of those young players.There was an excellent choice of beverages available plus food to enjoy at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed the puck toss game between the second and third periods a fund raising activity for the arena and it's activities. We also enjoyed a figure skating exhibition during the 1st and 2nd periods by a local skater who we might see in the Olympics someday. They have discount tickets available for senior citizens and children and it's a real economical evening of entertainment.

This show was amazing. The local talent along with the 4 former Olympian stars were sensational. We were not expecting such a professionally done production from such a small town. Excellent value for the ticket price. They even offered rink side tables where the skaters were just a few feet away.

They have open skating each day; took the kids and it was their first time on skates; ice was great and everyone is very helpful. Very nice facility.

Very good food, especially breakfast. Never too busy except at break time on the ice. Also, great ice cream. If Ice Cream Alley is to busy, this is a great choice. Friendly staff.

We are ATT customers and the service in McCall was almost non-existent for us. (Verizon customers had great service though.) So it was a stroke of luck for our teenage daughters to discover free wi-fi at the rink, and our married pregnant daughter loved the chance to get out of the heat and into the a/c. We did have a meal there at Skater Things Cafe and enjoyed it very, very much! We didn't ice skate though.

The venue is not adequate for a concert. The acoustics are terrible and VIP seating consists of bleachers on the side. It appeared that the promoters were more interested in selling liquor than promoting a concert. I will not be coming back to the McCall Music Festival.

The computerized humidity control makes the ice quality supreme. Great for skating and curling. The ice shows are a remarkable display of local area talent of all ages.

Whenever we go to McCall we always make sure to go ice-skating at least once. The Center is amazingly fun and we've always had a great time. Anytime we went, summer or winter, we went skating, it's almost a tradition now :)

With the weather this year we didn't make it out skiing, and this was the perfect alternate. We took our kids and those of our local cousins and everyone had a great time. The staff were very helpful in getting the right skates for everyone. We also enjoyed the on-site cafe for a bit of warm up and rest time during our visit.

What a surprise to find an ice rink in the summer! While we were glad to have brought our sweatshirts along, it was fun to skate in shorts in July! A decent value for a steamy summer afternoon activity!

Beginner to expert, this center caters to everyone - even non-skaters that just want to watch. Great escape from summer heat - great opportunity when there is no snow.
