This is by far the best horse riding experience we have had and it is highly recommended. We decided on a two hour ride and we were not disappointed. Our guide, Kim was great with her matching the horses with our family, her knowledge of each horse, and the pride she took in making sure we had a fun experience. The ride started out at the edge of the Targhee National Forest west of Victor Idaho but only 30 minutes from Jackson WY. We rode through the forest crossing streams, gradually climbing on trails but it seemed we were making our own path. We broke through the tree line as we made it to the top of a large hill exposing the whole Teton valley below with views of the Teton range which we're amazing. When we left the top of the hill, Kim guided us back on a different trail so we didn't have to backtrack to our original starting point. This made the entire two hour ride completely different from start to finish. We can't say enough about our experience, our guide Kim and the Teton Mountain Ranch. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the Tetons. Upstate New York family August 12,2014.

My family and I recently spent a week in Victor. Four of us went horseback riding with Kent and his granddaughter. They are the nicest family, have wonderfully trained horses, and made our excursion the highlight of our week. I highly recommend this trail ride. Kent is extremely knowledgeable of the area, its history, and wildlife. Thank you for the fun!

We recently took a family trip to Driggs and, after reading the great reviews on trip advisor, decided to add Teton Mountain Ranch horseback riding to our to-do list . We had 4 adults and 3 children, ages 5 to 10, in our group and chose the 1 hour ride because we weren't sure how the younger ones would do. Everyone had a fantastic time!! I can't say enough good things about it. The scenery was beautiful, the horses were very well behaved and Kent and Greg Bagley made us feel like we were old friends. Definitely a highlight of our trip. Look forward to coming back and doing it again!

The Bagley's are great people and the trail ride they led us on was fantastic. This is a must for any itinerary to the Teton Valley. We took our four kids, 13 to 7 on a two hour ride up the mountain and they loved every minute of it. Can't wait to come back.Driggs FamilyMesa, AZ

Kent and Pauline Bagley are wonderful people and will give you and your family an authentic Teton Valley experience. A horseback ride with Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch will be one of the highlights of your vacation.

My friends and I were looking for a horseback riding experience in the Jackson Hole Area. We came across Bagley's through other trip advisor excellent reviews and thought we would give it a try. We were all wonderfully greeted by the hosts of the ranch, Kent and Pauline who welcomed us so warmly onto the ranch. We decided to do the half day trail ride and were certainly not disappointed. Despite the light rain, we were taken on a beautiful trail ride across the mountain ridge lines out the back of Victor, Idaho. It was just our group of four people, so it felt like a very private riding experience and not in large groups like other trail rides I have been on in the past. Kent did a great job explaining to us the history of the area, information about the local flora and fauna and overall just looking after us really well throughout the ride. Kent made sure that the riders level of experience matched the horse and my husband and I, were really happy with "Major " (for more experienced riders) and "Sundown" (for less experienced riders). The trail ride was stunnningly beautiful with great views of the valley and the Tetons in the distance. We would highly recommend this to other travelers and will definitely be back Bagley's for another ride when we are next in town.

We just finished a 4 hour ride with Kent and Pauline Bagley and just wanted to tell them thanks! If you want a first class trail ride with exceptional people, then you will want to ride with the Bagleys. It is money well spent driving over the pass from Jackson to Victor. Kent took care of our 6 year old and had her handling her own horse (Ahab) in no time at all. There is nothing more to say then we will definitely be back again.

I was looking for a place for my fiance and me to ride during our vacation in Jackson Hole. I was not interested in a nose-to-tail large group ride and a friend recommended Teton Mountain Ranch as a great place for a small, private ride. I'm so glad they did because this was one of the highlights of our trip! Kent & Pauline are wonderful hosts and really made us feel so welcome. I rode Zeus, who was so gentle and steady and was very responsive. We chose the 2-hour ride and we went about 1,000 feet up to the top of the nearby mountain, with lots of great scenery. We felt like personal guests of the Bagley's and it was a wonderful ride! One of our favorites parts of the day was going out to see their elk - what a fun experience!!! Pauline was so kind and explained their whole ranching operation during the trip out there in their bus (which was so interesting - their grandchildren are now the fifth generation!). We got to pet and feed the elk and see the young calfs, the males with the full antlers and ones with antlers in the velvet. They were so kind to each give us a piece of the velvet to take home as a souvenir. We also got to see their buffalo! If you're looking for a great experience, I highly recommend Teton Mountain Ranch, especially for people who may be nervous about riding.

We needed something to do one day and decided on a 2 hour trail ride with Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch. What an awesome experience, our guide was patient and very knowlegeable. Our guide took extra care with our 8 year old son explaining what to expect and how to guide the horse, my son was actually guiding the horse on his own for almost half the trip. The horses are well maintained and very well mannered. We had a wonderful time and plan to book a half day or more next time.

Taking a cue from these reviews, we booked 1-hour rides for the whole family. Ken and Colleen are wonderful people who run a gem of a business. We are rank amateurs, but Ken had us up the mountains in less than 20 minutes. We went up to the ridge with gorgeous views on all sides. The whole trip was in the national forest, up and down the whole way. We all had a terrific time. The toughest part was getting on the horse. We're looking forward to the 1/2 day rides, and even their 4-day pack trips, next year.

We booked a one-hour trail ride for our family with the Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch during our stay near Driggs, Idaho. We are glad we did. It was the highlight of our trip to the Teton Valley. We have not ridden horses very often, and our seven-year old had never been on a horse. Kent and Pauline Bagley were our guides and were fantastic. They made us all feel very comfortable with the horses. The ride took us up a beautiful canyon to the top of a ridge with great views of the Teton Valley. My children all want to do another ride with the Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch the next time we go to the Teton Valley.

We have used Bagley's for school field trip multiple wagon rides through the elk, and we have used them for personal birthday horseback rides through the Big Holes. In any setting the folks here are friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to share what they know. They know a lot. The Bagleys are part of the foundation this area was built on. They're good, hard working people who will do the job right for you. You won't be sorry, and the more time you spend out riding with them the less sorry you'll be.

Our family had a reunion in the area and we were wanting a ride in the mountains. Added this very last minute and the bagleys were very accomodating. We had kids as young as 7 on this ride as well as experienced adults. Everyone enjoyed this ride in every way. Would definitely ride with them again and would consider half day trip next time!

Went with Greg Bagley this past August on 5-day, 4 night horse-pack trip in Palisades Mountain range (South of Victor, ID and West of Teton range). Fantastic horses, rigorous elevation changes with many "confidence building" rides. Amazingly beautiful sights and very few other people, unlike many of the national parks. Beautiful mountain lakes, but unable to catch any trout - must have been us! Food plentiful. but simple. Must bring own wine, if desired.

What makes Bagley's outstanding is their consideration and consistency with groups small and large, and riders young and old. We have had two trail rides with them over the past two years. The first was two years ago as a small group. Just my sister, an experienced rider, and my son (then eight years old). I think the Bagley's included a few younger family members just for company. My son was thrilled after the two-hour ride (great views of the Teton Range) and announced that the next would be a two-day pack trip! For the second trip (13 August 2009), we invited another family (staying in Jackson) to compose a group of twelve. The size of the group actually turned out to be a problem for all the other (approx 6) firms that we contacted. Unbelievably, some actually seemed to be quite put-upon to accommodate a large group! Bagley's again proved to be quite willing and able to execute. To boot, our group included over half first-time riders with the younger riders aged 5, 6, 7, and 8. We had three trail hands. Owner Kent, his son Greg, and a summer student, Benj. Each carefully and confidently lead the youngest three as we traversed another forest and ridge with great views of the Tetons. Everyone returned delighted with their experience. This was especially true for the youngest members, who would have been confined to a thirty minute walk around a pasture if they had been served by most other outfits.
