We are so blessed in this beautiful place we live to have this gem. There are still parts of the trail along streets, but when you arrive from west to east into Couer d'Alene and can ride right along the water, it is so worth it!

a very nice old RR grade converted into a nice bike ride. Sometimes busy. . sometimes not. great views too.

Impressive what the 2 states have done to bring together the Centennial trail that leads you to downtown Spokane. Easy to get on or off.

rented bike and rode 8 miles out to the end of the trail to the north. Very fun ride with views of the lake. It is a beautiful area.

This trail is great to spend an hour or a whole day on. Its a nice easy trail to ride bikes on that offers awesome views of Couer d'Alene Lake. Very well maintained and a great reason to get outdoors.

This is a beautiful trail With all the changes in this town over the past year (I have a sister who lives there so I have been going up 30 plus years) I think they have found a beautiful balance of nature efficiency and convenience.

Gorgeous views with a well maintained trail. Our family biked 10 miles of it. Not extremely hard hills and few traffic. Stopped along the way for lunch (Jimmy's Down the Street Diner). Rented bikes from Vertical Earth Bike Shop about a mile from trail.

really nice - if I had this where I lived I'd always be on it biking or running. when I was on it I was pretty much by myself.

This travel is so clean, paved and kept so nice. My husband and I walked well over 5 miles every day. You can take it from the Hampton Inn all the way to the lake. It goes to Spokane as well when we asked. Take your bike or rent them on vacation. Walk or run. You will love this!

This trail is wide, smooth, and nicely maintained. Where it is actually a separate bike path, it's well-marked and easy to follow, but when it goes into towns/cities and onto roads, the signage can be confusing. Both my husband and I got lost in an area west of CDA as well as in downtown CDA before finally finding the trail again. Better turn signs would make all the difference! Still, don't let that stop you from riding this trail if you're in the area. It is a blast with some gorgeous views along the way.

flat in beginning.. nice paved trail.. start from Riverstone Park if you want flat... you can get off the trail and ride around CDA neighborhoods and small town.

We ride from our house in Northwest Coeur d'Alene down rails to trails routes which cross the Centennial Trail near Riverstone then goes along the Spokane river, past the North Idaho College and beach, through the city park, past the Coeur d'Alene Resort and the just-completed renovation of McEuen Park, through the older part of town to Lake Coeur d'Alene Drive, then along the lake for several miles to it's end point near Higgens Point. Lots of places to stop and picnic or take a picture. Also, places to eat along the way including our favorite, Bakery-by-the-Lake on Front Ave. Many athletes train here for the Coeur d'Alene Ironman Race held the last Sunday in June. You can spend the whole day taking in the sites along the way or just go for a quick ride.

This bike trail is well-balanced and scenic...plenty to see while casually pedaling along, even has a few moderate hills to keep your interest! The trail is always well maintained. Lots of fun for bike riders of all ages and skill levels. Check it out; you won't be sorry!

this bike/pedestrian trail follows part of the shoreline of lake Coeur d'Alene and the Spokane River. You can take a short walk, linger along the shoreline, or go for miles, your choice.

If you come to CDA and like to walk, run, ride your bike, walk your dog it's a must do. Miles and miles of paved trails, you can make it hard or easy depending where you start. Enjoy!
