Mispillion is pretty new to the growing microbrewery scene here in Delmarva. They are doing a great job. I always feel welcome here, they have some delicious beers, fun local events ( Christmas in July) and they are dog friendly! My husband and recently took part in a Valentine's Brunch special they had- and the staff really outdid themselves with the food and the beer pairings! What a wonderful Valentine brunch. Most of the time, there is a local food truck outside- if you are hungry, but it's worth a trip ( or more) for the beer and the fun!

Having frequented many a brewery, especially on the Delmarva Peninsula, I finally went north beyond Milton/Rehoboth (DFH) (with my wine-preferred wife) and found Mispillion River Brewing. I was most pleasantly surprised to find a variety of about 10 different beers on tap. I did the 4 beer flight, but the server allowed me to taste a number of others. The quality of all these beers will hold up to any of the breweries around, hands down. They put a lot of pride into their beer and are very creative in the hops and process used to produce their product. I could go on with my review of my taste selections, but they are all great. Once again, the variety is tremendous. I took home a 32 oz. growler of "Holy Crap!", an imperial red ale. Along with my growler, I also purchased a 6 pack of Beach Bum Joe in cans (a must), a visor, and a pint glass to add to my collection. GO!

We are huge craft beer fans. Their beach bum joe is our favorite ale and their IPA is our second favorite ipa. Staff is always friendly and warm. Indoor/outdoor aspect of their lounge area is really nice. They often have food trucks with excellent food and really great live music. Really just the best place.

Having moved to the lovely town of Milford nearly a year ago, I'm ashamed I haven't tried this local delightful watering hole sooner. There is a remarkable range of beers available, from the lightest wheat beer to the deepest darkest porter, and all shades in between. For 10 bucks, one can try 4 generous samples of any variety of your choosing from their ample and well described selections listed on their blackboard. The crowd at the bar is extremely friendly. Heck, I'd say this place is downright festive- even in what can best be described as a minimalist brewery industrial bar atmosphere. The people make this place great. Pretzels and the occasional cheese goldfish bowl are available for palette cleansing and general alcohol absorption. One caveat- that is it for food. If you're anything like me, which is a disgrace to my vodka guzzling ancestors, make sure you have a ride! Most of the beer here is higher in alcohol content than your common Coors, but it is soooo good! If you'd like to enjoy some later, 2 different sized growlers are available to fill and take home. They also have cans of some select brews. All the beers I've sampled have been excellent. This brewery is only one year new! What they were able to accomplish in that time is very impressive. Craig and I will be refilling our growlers regularly.

My wife and I were on a short beer crawl and stopped by here to try out their offerings. It was a slow early Saturday afternoon, so we did a 4 beer flight, and must say that all four were excellent. We stayed on for a few more pints. We got the chance to meet and speak with co-owners Scott and Tammy. All I can say is that they have an enormous amount of passion and enthusiasm, which spills (sorry about that) over into their excellent frothy products. I look forward to enjoying more pints and to watch these guys grow.

We dropped by the brewery over Labor Day weekend while we were staying at the Causey Mansion in Milford. A great place to try if you are enthusiastic about good local beers. They had around a dozen beers on tap, all of the ones we tried were very tasty. I loved that they had flights available (either 10 beers or 4). We were there on a Saturday and it had a great laid back vibe with a couple of guys playing guitar. They don't seem to serve food, but they had a food truck outside serving BBQ.We liked the beer so much we got a growler to take back to our hotel to enjoy. I only wish they were a little closer to downtown so we could have walked home.

When we decided to return from the beach early we had no intent of stopping at a brewery-especially on a Sunday but as luck would have it we read about this place and decided to stop. This is worth a stop! The beer is absolutely fantastic; the building is easy to find and just off route 113; the staff friendly and knowledgeable-did I mention the delicious and variety of beer? A definite repeat visit!

It was a toss-up whether to go with Very Good or Excellent, but I finally had to admit that one of their more established competitors was a little better.Getting here requires good directions or a GPS, but the indoor/outdoor atmosphere was very nice. The server was pleasant and helpful, especially when it came to selecting beers for my tasting. At some places, I have gotten an annoyed look when I said "surprise me". Here, the server asked a question or two and came up with a nice flight of beers to sample. I want to go back to sample some of their other brews. The place is very pleasant. My only complaints - They were short on some of the souvenir merchandise and they don't have food. Regarding the merchandise, it's normal to phase items out, but the replacement should be available. It's just good marketing and logistics.Anyway, the main point in going is beer. Theirs are very good. So go!

After eating at a local establishment, I was looking for someplace to get a growler fill. Finding this brewery close by we decided to go there. I bought growlers of a stouit and belgian ale, and both were very good. Nice stop.

Stopped by here the first time today. My husband and I ordered the flight of samplers which meant we got to try all 10 beers served on tap. $20. Very good tasting varieties of miccrobrewed beer. Service was excellent and everyone very friendly. Apparently they tour on Saturdays only. Although we sat at the dozen-seated bar, the pub itself was very spacious with flat screen TVs and plenty of tables and seating. Restrooms clean and spacious. It was a nice touch that they provided a selection of board games so if you wanted to hang out and play a game there is no rush to get you out of there. Will definitely go back!

We stopped in for the a tasting. It was $10 for four tastes. Nice large size tastes. I enjoyed the Citrus Beer made with maderine oranges and the Beach Bum Joe. It's small, but quiet and staff were great. Nice places to spend a little bit of time on a Sunday.

What was initially supposed to be just a time-filler on a road trip turned into a highlight. They make some great beers, and the owners (who were employees) when we visited were quite friendly and hospitable.

Mispillion River Brewing makes excellent beer. Our favorites were the IPA and Beach Bum Joe Pale Ale. The porters were very good as well. We would have liked to take some beer home with us but we're traveling, so no place to store it.

Met the brew master at an event at a local golf course and decided to check out the brewery. So we stopped there this afternoon after a trip up to Dover. It was a great find. They are located off Airport Road in Milford. Easy to find. Walked in early afternoon on a Sunday. Our bartender, Ryan, was very cordial and helpful. I took a sampling of their darker beers: Praetor - an imperial stout; Nasty B - and English Brown Ale, and Goat Island Thunder - dopplebock. All delicious. These brewers know what they are doing. Each was full bodied and had nutty flavors, caramel, and malt.Their brews are crisp and clean. Well worth your attention.

If you like great beer this is the place for you. This company is going to explode. Great selection of beer. The staff is very friendly and will do tours of the brewery with you. The ZJ. IPA is on of the best beers I have ever had. We even met head brewer Jarred who was a great guy. The place is small now but they will be huge soon.
