kiln time contemporary ceramics studio

I was given a gift certificate for kiln time. I had never heard of it but apparently the studio has been In downtown Bristol for 5 years. I went in studio while in the area to check it out. I was greeted by a worker named Rachael. I explained I had a gift certificate and wanted to check out what was available to do. Rachael explained the whole process which was very simple. I mentioned to Rachael I had a child who was high functioning Autistic and was concerned how she would do at the studio. Rachael assured me they were kid friendly and that there were times that probably due to noise would be better. I seen a variety of people at the studio. Couples on dates, grandparents with grandchildren, a party of girls, and families. This place was awesome all around. The owner and workers were so informative and truly encourage play and fun. We ended up playing in the play area that looks like a ship and several of hide and seek games in the store. This place was beautifully decorated and comfortable. After selected items were painted they have to put the in the kiln so items wont be ready for a few days. Staff call you when items are ready for pick up. Ceramics are reasonably priced and there is a 10$ table fee. That includes all paints, brushes and kiln. Pretty much everything you need.
