funquest skate and bowl

We took a church group to midnight bowling on a Saturday night. We had made reservations which was a good idea because it was a good crowd. The bowling alley is showing some age but the lanes and equipment are top notch. Our group, some of which had never bowled, had a great time. Don't go hungry because the snack bar offers stereotypical bowling alley food of what looked like frozen pizza and nachos/fries. Lane attendants did a good job and overall if you want to go bowling it is relatively inexpensive and whole lot of fun.

Funquest is a great place to take the family for bowling, skating and laser tag. Birthday parties are a specialty here in Collierville. There always seems to be slow service, friendly, but slow. The food is bowling alley food, so don't go hungry.Kids love this plave especially.

We were very disappointed with Fun Quest in Collierville, TN. Reserved birthday party deal with laser tag. Was for up to 10 kids, with 2 pizzas, and one hour of laser tag. We asked for an additional medium pizza to be added for additional cost when we set it up - though this never made it to the table and later found out they didn't write it down. Upon arrival 15 minutes before we were supposed to start it was clear that there was no organization or perpetration for any birthday parties that were there. At about 15 minutes past our start time for laser tag we finally got ok'd to even go to get started for laser tag. Then after 10 minutes into playing the game ended and we were told we had to leave because they only had us reserved for 10 minutes. After a short discussion with the kid running the laser tag game left for over 10 minutes trying to track down the manager to verify the time. When he returned we got to start again. We took a short water break later and was then told that our hour was up, even though we didn't get anywhere near an hour of play. I mentioned the late start and lost time when we were left waiting after only ten minutes of play and the kid running the laser tag agreed to one more ten minute game. Which I was ok with. But then this other employee named Gayle comes up and starts giving us a hard time stating they have to stay on schedule and we have to now start eating our pizza or it will be cold if we play another 10 minute game. Gayle was extremely unprofessional and rude to my wife. My wife let her know that we would just have to eat cold pizza then since we got a late start and kicked out too soon after 10 minutes. Gayle we later found out was a manager of the place. WOW!!! Who ever owns this business needs to fire Gayle if they want people to keep coming. We were referred to by another set of parents and regret our decision in going to this place -and we'll be letting them know what our experience is today! One employee who did a good job during the birthday party itself was Ashley. But beware of this place...the overall place not in good shape, the laser tag equipment had issues, and the management is a big issue. Spend your money elsewhere.
