What a Awesome Church. Just seeing it from the hwy, with the Three Crosses standing as witnesses is Bueatifull. The Book Store is well stocked. Services are great also. E.E. training is available. Just a truly Great Place To Worship God.

I have been attending this church for a year. It has been a wonderful experience. The church family show agape love toward everyone not matter who you are. The word of God is being taught and many classes are offered to help an individual and family in their everyday living. I have gained some new friends as well. Glad to be in the presence of so much LOVE!!!!

No review needed for this one, if you love God, then there is never a bad review for a church. You come here to worship, not to Judge.

While this church is quite large, we found our way around quite easily, once inside. The parking lot was a bit more difficult to maneuver, even though there was lots of signage. We know this will be easier once we are accustomed to the flow of traffic and location of the different parking locations. We attended the 9:15 service and it was wonderful. Both the message and the music were inspiring. We look forward to visiting Bellevue again in the near future.

The Bellevue Baptist Church Singing Christmas Tree. This year's performance was as usual.. Awesome. My grandaughter and I have been a number of times...it has become a tradition for us. We live 4 hours from CordovaTN, (Cordova is just east of Memphis) and it is well worth the drive. It may be too late for the 2013 performance, but it will be back next year! It has been around for 38 years and is seen by 30,000 people each year. This is performed by members of the church, and what a talented group they are! There are no words....you just have to see it. The tickets are very very reasonable. This just puts you in the Christmas Spirit. No, it doesn't make you want to got shopping for gifts. It makes you think about others this time of year and to be thankful for what we have. Tickets go on sale early in October. Tickets range from $3 to $18

My husband is working in Memphis and I was able to fly out for a visit. He's been attending Bellevue Baptist Church for the month that he's been here. He kept telling me how awesome it is. We both attended this morning and it was all he had said it was and more! The Choir and orchestra led the congregation is such Spirit Filled Worship! Brother Steve truly brought God's word to us. So much to think about and put into practice! Afterwards, my husband and I went to the Guest Central where we were greeted so kindly! Then we met the Pastor, were able to chat with him and then he prayed for us! What a special touch of love was shown to us as we visited this amazing church! Our only wish is that we lived closer so that we could attend every week. If you don't have a church home, this is the one to check out! JESUS is preached here!

Give you two service options on Sunday.....One if you still enjoy traditional with Choir and standard hymns, then a second service at 11:00 for the younger, more progressive church goers. Both feature Brother Steve Gaines at the pulpit. His sermons are awesome and should not be missed, no matter what type of music uplifts your spirit.

This church really goes out of its way to say, "Memphis, I love you." Having visited many of the church's public offerings at Easter, July 4, and Christmas I am continually amazed to see just how magnificent the staff can put on a soul catching performance.

I am a nurse who visited Bellevue Baptist Church with two other staff members with three handicapped patients in wheelchairs for a Wednesday night service. We struggled to get the three patients in the wheelchairs inside the heavy doors when we arrived for the service. There were many people standing nearby in the lobby, some just a few feet away from us. We were not spoken to or offered any assistance by anyone. We were ignored. A few people stared at us and then went back to ignoring the staff and our three handicapped patients. We then entered the chapel and sat down. We did not feel welcome or wanted. Again we were still being totally ignored. We all decided to leave this unfriendly church after about thirty minutes. When we were leaving it was another struggle to get the three patients in wheelchairs out of the heavy doors. As we were leaving there were many people in the lobby and the staff and the three patients were totally ignored again as we were leaving the building. My three handicapped patients were not shown any kindness, love or compassion and were not even extended a simple hello by anyone. The nursing staff and the three handicapped patients were totally ignored at Bellevue Baptist Church.

I relocated to Memphis from growing up and living in various cities out west. I quickly learned how backwards Memphis is in terms of race relations. There are many efforts to resove the issues and I won't use this forum as my way of addressing the issue. However, it is my feeling that a church as large as this (HUGE!) should be doing more to try to diversify itself. I attended a holiday show and a service there and was shocked at how "white-washed" it was. I now attend another very large church in the city that is taking many efforts to not only diversify, but to minister and address the negative cultural issues this city has. Bellevue, in my opinion, celebrates it's non-diverse congregation and seems to want to keep it that way.

This is" the" Memphis Mega Church. If you’re not a super Baptist this is not the place for you. They pretty much just want your money so they can spend it on themselves and make their Mega church bigger. If you want to go to a nice church pick a smaller one where people care about you.

Twice a year, my family and I visit Belluvue. They have an Easter and Christmas program that is equal to any huge major film series. Large church but small enough to have a warm welcome.

This church and the members go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
