My friend and I went to hear her grandson playing at the winery. We had so much fun. Heard the Kimberly Helton Band. They were absolutely amazing. They made me want to get up and dance. And that takes a lot.

We were attending a wedding at the winery. It was located in the back "barn" In order to get to the back barn, you had to walk up an old tractor path that was gravel. Not an easy task in heels. The bathroom was down at the winery so you had to walk down and back up that tractor path in order to use the facilities. This was a tough task for the elderly at the reception. I read the previous reviews on how great the wine is. Our family comes from an Italian town in Wisconsin and many of us thought the wine at Crown Winery was horrible. There were many of us that thought the wine was very bitter.

I loved the ambiance at the crown winery. You step into another world and the service is great. The villa and attached is perfect for catered parties. You feel as if you are in another country. They just need a restaurant.

Took the tour and loved it! Then we did the wine tasting and the "winedown" . Rick played Jimmy buffet music and a caterer served cheeseburgers in paradise. They have built an amphitheater and plan on future concerts. We look forward to going back!

We did the wine tour and tasting and had a great time. The owner is from England and has a great sense of humor and is very easy going.. you get to walk into the vineyards as well as the room where the wines are fermenting in the vats.. you can taste straight from the vats some of the wine in process if you like.. then on to the wine tasting.. they let you sample almost every wine they make... not being a red wine lover, I passed on most of those but the whites are good.. They have music on Saturday nights during the summer.. would love to go back and enjoy.. wonderful venue..

I was told about the wine down at this winery they have every friday night. I took my wife she absolutely loves their wines. First we did the wine tasting and then purchase some wine for the music. Out on the rear area of the main house which is gorgeous and very romantic they had live music and you could bring your own food and buy thier wine or purchase their: cheeses, sausages and fresh french bread and just enjoy the night. Some of the staff really know the wines and the heritages, other ones dont really know a whole lot. We will definately go back.

good wine-the live music was fair (but they have different folks each Saturday night) and the atmoshere was GREAT!! Next time we will 'pack' dinner & go early before the music starts at 7. Fun place-give it a try!!

We have been to many wineries in the South including the North Carolina wine trail and quite frankly some are awfully cheesy. So you have no idea how surprised I was to walk into Crown Winery and see a winery that looks way more modern! The staff was helpful and we enjoyed the entire tasting. We loved the Cayuga White and bought a couple of bottle. I've recently had a wine night and the Cayuga white was one of the highlights of the night!

My wife and I are not wine experts by any means, but we have had the opportunity to tour some vineyards in Napa and know that its a nice way to spend a couple hours, so we decided to take a ride from the Memphis area out to Humboldt and tour Crown Winery. The winery is owned by a couple who have incorporated a Tuscan theme into their business...she has been in many beauty pageants (thus the name of the winery), and he is a pleasant English fellow with a great sense of humor. If you are not from the area, I would suggest using a GPS to help you get there. A few people were late for the tour (you need to make a reservation) because they had a hard time finding it. We were immediately welcomed by the owner and she made everyone (about 20 people) feel very comfortable, explaining what the tour would be like. She then handed us over to her husband, who gave a very informative and entertaining tour of the vineyards and the winery. There is a very interesting story on how they got started in the business and how he learned the wine-making process. The tour ended with a tasting experience and we tried approximately ten different products. They were all very good and very reasonably priced. There is also a nice gift shop where you can buy t-shirts, hats, kitchen decor, etc. Also on the grounds is a pottery maker. We walked over to his business while we were there and were impressed with the style and quality of his products. It was worth the visit. The entire experience took about 2.5 hours and we both felt it was time well spent. There were also some people there planning out their wedding, it appears that this is a popular spot for outdoor ceremonies which I can understand because the property has a lot of natural beauty. There are some discount offers on Groupon and Living Social that are worth checking out.
