I have reviewed this place before so check out my earlier review for complete info. I just wanted to add that they have added more things. They now have pedal tractors in a little pedal tractor raceway. It has only about 6 tractors though so during busy times this will probably cause a long line. But it was very fun. They also added a big screen tv in the barn that plays the football game so Dads can sneak away to catch the game I guess. Also added some kind of golf game but we did not play it. They do listen to feedback and I appreciate that. I complained last year they needed a queue set up for the tractor ride and they set one up this year. So I appreciate they take people's input to improve the experience. We come here every year and really really enjoy it. It is a family tradition.

I have reviewed this farm before. We have been going every Fall for the last 3 years. This year was probably the most unenjoyable due to crowds. The place is becoming more and more popular which means more crowds. We went on Sunday Oct 13 at opening and it was already crowded. We had to fight people to get our kids on the tractor ride even though my kids were waiting patiently in line. But when the tractor pulled up people just jumped in front of my kids. So that was very upsetting. There was no employee managing the line to prevent this from happening. The price is a little high at I think $12 a person since you no longer get a pumpkin included in that price. The pumpkins are extra now. I think timing is everything. Next year we are going earlier in the season and maybe at a better time because the crowds were crazy. People were very pushy about cutting line. Otherwise the place is very cool. Lovely trees shade picnic tables to bring in a picnic lunch or buy food at the Calf-A. They have fun slides and corn cribs and sorghum box for the kids to play in. Pumpkin bowling, corn maze, hay bale maze, petting zoo, tractor ride, hay ride, pumpkin picking, and corn hole and bouncy horses are all of the activities they have at the farm. The farm is beautiful with nice scenery and views. They have real bathrooms which is nice, no portapotties, So I do highly recommend this farm just but careful about what time and date you go because the crowds can make it frustrating.

If you have not been to a farm or petting zoo in years, then fix that here. This was a great place to visit for kids and adults alike. Well laid out and animals are well taken care of! I'm not 4 I'm 40 and didnt want to leave I was having so much fun! It's inexpensive and well worth revisiting your childhood!

I'm not a typical poster, but since there was only a single review needed to post our experience.We had a fantastic time at Old McDonalds Farm. We just went (week and half before halloween) and everything was perfect, from the weather to the whole experience. We had considered some farms that my wife had been to outside Atlanta, but after hearing that there was a $6 per person (even infants!) that got you little more than access to their slide and then got overcharged for everything and their "apple picking" was more than an experience in smelly rotten tomatoes, we decided to try out this place and it was great.Pros are numerous. Admission is $11 (under 3 is free), but you get a lot with that. Slides, plenty of places for pictures, blow up horse races, hay maze (easier), corn maze (harder), bean bag throwing, sand-castle-like building using grains and corn pits where the kids can sink in and play (kinda like a quick sand ball pit). There were animal petting areas as well. The best freebie is the 5-10 minute hay ride out to the pumpkin patch where you get (yes, even the free infants) a small pumpkin or can upgrade to larger pumpkins for just $3 or $4 each. We got 2 really big pumpkins and 2 smaller pumpkins for just $6. What a deal!"Extras" are cheap too. It cost just $2 total for the 4 of us (2 adults, 5 year old, 1 year old) to do a separate wagon ride (complete with saddles for the kids) around the lot. They have a (genius!) 3 for a dollar, slingshot where you can launch small pumpkins into a targeting area. Food is very tasty and affordable ($4 for a fresh barbeque sandwich, $1.25 drinks, etc) too. Restrooms were actual restrooms (no port-o-poties) which would be a big deal compared to some of these farms.We were there for 4 hours (time went quickly) and had to drag our 5 year old son home who wanted to spend more time doing everything again. Cons are few. They need to work on structuring lines. It was difficult to figure out where to line up for the pumpkin ride (until there was a huge line) and there really wasn't even a line for the wagon ride - it was just a bunch of people hanging around confused about whose turn it was. People were also confused about whether they needed a $2 token, where to get it, etc. They had a nice touch of having 4 wagons there to help people carry their pumpkins to their car, but they allowed some inconsiderate families to abuse the gift. The family in front of us decided they deserved 2 of those wagons for their 2 kids leaving us to carry the pumpkins to the car ourselves. Amazingly, one really oblivious pair of ladies allowed each their 3 kids to each take their OWN wagon (one pumpkin per cart) and carry them around the entire time with them at the farm. I'm sure there were dozens of families that had to manually carry their pumpkins back to their car due to their selfishness. A simple sign "One wagon per family. Please be considerate of other families and return promptly" would've been nice (although I'm sure those people wouldn't have noticed the sign).A simple warning, though:timing is EVERYTHING. GET THERE EARLY! Get there as close to noon as possible. By 4pm, it was crowded and the line to get your pumpkin was probably an hours wait (where as we basically walked on). Its well worth the time to get out there and you'll likely stay at least a couple of hours.Great fun!

I take my family with 5 year old twin boys to this farm every Fall. They are open during the Sept and Oct weekends. The cost is $11 a person over 3 which is pricey, but you do get a small pumpkin with that price. There is so much to do there! You take a hay ride to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. If you want extra pumpkins you can get them and pay for them. There is a big barn with two slides big enough for adults and kids. There are several corn cribs the kids can play in and cover themselves with corn. There is a seed box which is like a sandbox with toys except it is some kind of seed. They have a hay bale maze which is the perfect size for small children. Then they have a huge corn maze which we did not do as it would have taken too long for young children. They have a petting zoo and bouncy horses and a tractor ride for the kids. My kids always love it. I always enjoy myself too. The farm is beautiful. The employees are friendly. They seem to add new things every year. It is so close to Chattanooga up 27 past Soddy Daisy. We will continue to go every year! I highly recommend it! They always let us bring in food and we picnic. They have a ton of picnic tables and they also have food to sale. They even have wagons you can borrow to drive your pumpkins out to your car. Also the biggest plus is they have regular bathrooms! No porta potties!!!
